I haven't won any competitions at all for months despite entering loads every day. I was getting really demoralised. Then a couple of weeks ago I got an email, which I nearly deleted by mistake, informing me I'd won two places to the Masterchef pop up restaurant plus a £50 bar tab! The restaurant is there for five weeks only and features winners and runners up from the Masterchef series cooking special menus. Our menus were from the 2011 winner Tim plus runners up Sara and Tom. We got to watch them cooking, had a 6 course tasting menu and got to talk to some of the chefs and watch them cooking. We spent our £50 bar tab having champagne on the roof terrace with amazing views over London including the London Eye and Shard and then more wine with our fantastic meal. This was something I would never have bought and it just shows you never know when you are going to win and what experience you are going to get.
