This has been my best month yet with my biggest prize coming from a local competition run by Magners Cider. The prize was £1000 worth of garden furniture. I got a phone call on the Monday morning saying I had won and the prize would be sent as a £1000 Amazon voucher and I could spent it how I wished.

Well I was delighted to receive an envelope that needed to be signed for last Saturday morning, to discover I have won a years supply of shoes! Always interested to note what a years supply of anything consists off, in this case it was 4 pairs of shoes to the value of £50 from Brantano.

So school shoe shopping looming, we headed into town yesterday, and instead of constantly uttering, no they are too dear, I started to utter, no they are too cheap(no change given)

The staff were more excited than me to have a winner in store, and actually told me to go and sit down and they would sort out the school shoes, so not only did I get free shoes, I got them without tears too!! My son impressed the staff by describing his shoes as being like a bed for his feet (bring back the slogan comps)

Managed to sneak a new pair of Go walks for me, and my phone beeped during the process to tell me I had won an outfir from Klass too!

Had a phone call from monster energy, and I've won a meet and greet with Lewis Hamilton, and ill get to be driven a lap with him as my driver!!!!!!!!
The best thing about comping is that you get the opportunity to do things that you wouldn't normally get to do!!!

I haven't had much time for comping this year as I had to focus on my last year of uni, then almost as soon as I graduated I was straight into a job and an internship. My life has been a bit crazy recently so I haven't been able to comp much, hence I only got one win this month.

I was one of the winners in the June giveaway on Julie Dodsworth's Facebook page, winning a goodie bag. It arrived yesterday, and was much better than I was expecting. The prize included 4 lovely mugs and a handbag (picture is from the website).

The past month or so has been quite fruitful for me, prizewise. I won Unbroken on Blu Ray, a Comic Book Covers Coloring Book, an official Mount Fuji pin badge as well as tickets to Wimbledon and a designer electric shower worth nearly £500. Hopefully my luck will continue as Christmas draws ever closer!

Happy Christmas all.. well, at least that's what it feels like. July has been absolutely incredible. I'm so grateful and don't you always seem to get the wins when you really really need them?!

I've had 79 separate wins this month. The best have been my £250 Lipsy Voucher courtesy of a Jewellers, a huge Cuprinol package courtesy of Channel 4, a £300 fragrance hamper, courtesy of Fragrance Direct, £150 John Lewes Vouchers from a blog competition.

I've had so many this month, it's hard to pick a favourite but I am most DEFINITELY really looking forward to my Fragrance Hamper arriving.

I'm hoping August is as fantastic as July has been!

Since starting comping around 3 years ago I have been trying to win my husband a golfing holiday and this month I was lucky enough to win a good one with Golf Monthly, I won 3 nights bed and breakfast at the 5 star Celtic Manor resort, 4 games of golf on nearby courses with buggy hire and £150 travel expenses(total value £1000) I now have a very happy husband. I also won a couple of smaller prizes including a Macqueens BBQ hamper £30, Disney frozen carousel £20 and a Blue ray movie £16. All in all a great month x x

I had an email to say I had won a Hudl2, which was kind as I had missed the original email due to my daughter's ill-health. But I quickly sent a grateful reply with my details as it would be perfect to share with my daughter as she recovers.

But sadly, all my emails have been ignored....so l'm not sure that the prize will be honoured. Probably my own fault for not reply to the first notification email. But just wanted to warn others to check your emails carefully so you don't miss any prize emails, but also not to get excited about a prize until it actually arrives :(

Had some time off so decided to enter a few comps to cheer myself up. Wasn't specifically looking for anything but this was a very welcome (completely unexpected!) surprise!!

It cheered me up no end as I haven't been well as well as making sure I spend some time entering a few more with the prize finder!

July has been fantastic, I've won 6 prizes in total. On 1st July I won an amazing new fridge freezer from ao.com, which I had to review on YouTube but then I could keep it! I absolutely love the little water dispenser on the front.

Next came a pair of Bang & Olufsen headphones, worth £120. The sound quality on them is excellent. This was swiftly followed by a child's Electra bike worth £300 from Mojomums…. wow!

I also won two books and then a pack of Ace washing detergent, all on Facebook.
