Having won entry earlier in the year for the Vitality Reading Half Marathon then experiencing a car crash the day before...I was eager to try something a little shorter. I saw a quick twitter entry competition with a prize for free entry to a Spartan Sprint Race (5km obstable race) via @timeoutdoors. Entry made, I forgot about it until my phone vibrated to ask me which one I'd like...Manchester or South Wales. Well pleased. The day was beautiful sunshine, lots of lifting, carrying running and mud! great prize

I often wondered if anyone ever won the instant win Yeo Valley Fruit Machine daily prize draw or any daily instant win draw for that matter.
I am happy to report that, yes they do. I was a lucky winner last month when three of the same fruits dropped down on the Yeo Valley fruit machine. I won a beautiful Godminster Vintage goodies hamper containing all sorts of lovely things to eat and drink. The company were first class with the follow up emails confirming delivery etc.
I often enter the instant win/daily comps but not obsessively. I do them only when I have time.
Coincidentally I also won last month a runner up prize from the Jennings Brewery Pull a Pint instant win draw. This was a Jennings Explore More Pint T Shirt. Again, I was shocked to see that it was possible to win on this type of draw.
So if anyone has any doubts about instant win web comps of this type, let me be living proof that they do work out sometimes.

I love unique prizes; that's why I was so glad to receive a congratulating comment on Facebook today from Woodhouse Clothing that I've won their Orlebar Brown competition - a pair of shorts, customized with my photo printed on it. I've chosen a holiday photo from Italy and can't wait to receive my new posh shorts; perfect timing.

Henley Royal Regatta july 1st 2015
i had a winning email that said

You have been picked as one of the lucky winners of the VIP day of hospitality for two people at Henley Royal Regatta on Wednesday 1st July.from Brakspear beer. The day was VIP ticket for 4 course lunch,afternoon tea ,open bar, champagne bar, ticket to a river cruise,over night stay in country hotel and taxi there and back to venue. it was a very hot day ,we were in the Temple Island Enclosure just at the start line of the races, the event hosts organised everything for us , a really fantastic day. There were four winners of two tickets each,the eight of us stayed together all day and had a good day in the sun. Never considered going to a regatta before but now i think i'm hooked

I entered the Barbour competition on Facebook for one of their Really Handy Picnic Rugs, where you had to tell them how you are making the most of the summer, I told them that I had made the most of a day the previous week in the glorious sunshine at Queens Club London watching the tennis and they picked me as a winner, the best bit was I had won the Queens tickets too, so I got a win through a win. The rug is fantastic and has loads of uses including a poncho with a hood! and a wind break. I love it and can't wait to use it this summer.

Wow - this month! It's been one amazing prize after the other.
The best prize this month is as pictured. Here's a snapshot of my prize list, I recently won a Spongebob competition with Pizza Hut! My daughter will have the best looking Pineapple-under-the-sea bedroom! - Including a television!!

Other super prizes this month included a beautiful Tiffany necklace, a solid silver spoon (personalised and engraved), kids toys, MAC makeup, dresses, vouchers and many many more.

In total, 65 prizes this month :)

I've only had a couple of wins this Month, the first was a surprise win of a Cinderella Doll, unfortunately it's box was damaged so I sent an email to Made for Mums and they contacted the promoter who sent me another one so I got 2! Brilliant service. My second win was a FB win of a bottle of Schwarzkopf hair oil. It has been very quiet for wins the past few months so surely I'm due a month of lots of wins. Fingers crossed for July :)

So I've haven't won much over the last few months. I won a bottle of vodka a few months before that but otherwise I hadn't made any major wins. I was a bit worried that maybe I was just not going to win anything significant afterwards.

That was until I got an email from Mostly Food and Travel in early June saying that I won one of their Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin Rucksacks! It included two 70cl bottles of Opihr gin and two 5cl miniatures. Being as my friend had returned from Asia only two days beforehand we had some serious catching up to do, which would be perfect over some cocktails! The Opihr came in beautifully over that. In the end we went for strawberry and black pepper gin sours and they were delicious! Unfortunately the gin proved a bit too useful for too many people and we're down a significant amount. It was good while it lasted though. My partner loves the rucksack: it's of a really good quality and the design is fab.
