When I started competitions I decided that the best prize I could win would be an Apple iPad Mini. It was what I most wanted to win. Yesterday I won one with Persimmon homes. I am so thrilled and over the moon... I now have to try and win the next thing on my list. I have won quite a bit this month, several prizes which shall be unnamed as I am using them as Christmas presents for the family, but DVD's books, make-up, a musical cow, a Mr Man package, a pack of pillows..... I am made up and love my hobby. Thank you for all your help ThePrizeFinder :)

I have had mixed success on competitions over the years. I spend about 4 years winning one prize every July for some reason. The last two years have been the most successful, a washing machine, vouchers( ranging from £25,to £1000) watch, energy drinks, toys, a camera, Ipod shuffle, perfumes and aftershave hampers, but my first prize I won through using ThePrizefinder was an Ipad mini. I was over the moon,the first prize I could say was MINE!..although I had won a camera, and an Ipod shuffle before, it was to the benefit of my wife and son. I am going through a lean spell at the moment..(maybe the yearly thing is coming back..). I would love to win a holiday/break/hotel stay, so I can treat the family, or my wife, or a huge toy for just me! I will keep trying, and it is nice to win anything, however big or small. The winning Facebook message, email, or phone call is a good feeling. (Yet to break my duck on Twitter, and no surprise deliveries to my house for years!) Good Luck everyone!

I got into entering competitions after reading many stories online of people winning. I have been comping since September now and had my first winning email after a few weeks! I didn’t realise how many opportunities there are to be a winner until I came across PrizeFinder. Without this site I don't think I would have stuck to this new hobby for long. I find it so easy to navigate and can look back on previously entered competitions. Since winning my first competition I have inspired my sister and have recommended this fantastic site to her. We both use it every day and it’s an extra topic to talk about during our coffee dates! My win was a Greyhours watch and I’ll be gifting it to hubby soon!

Usually my months don's start with a WEM straight away, so I was pleased when I received one today for a lovely prize I'm sure we'll enjoy: champagne afternoon tea for 5 at Bea's of Bloomsbury in London. I've always loved foodie related prizes, and though it's not a hamper (this time of the year it's always on my wishlist), I'm sure it's gonna be fun! We're about to book an overnight stay in London (prize from earlier), so it will fit nicely with our plans, can't wait!

Oh my god!!! October was a fantastic month with 25 prizes. I won a wigwam from Ella James, E45 products and lots of hair product and lots lots more but my favourite has to have been on the 3rd when AO.com were doing their live Youtube giveaway. I did enter but they were also asking for a selfie holding a picture of you family to review 1 out of 4 items so as soon as my kids got in from school I grabbed them to take the photo and uploaded it asap ... when the live feed started at 4pm I was excited but didn't think I was going to be picked but after 5 mins they showed my family photo and asked me to ring them there and then. I started to scream and shake. I phoned and spoke to Yossi who was lovely all on the live feed :O ... he gave me the option to review a washing machine, hoover, tumble dryer or dishwasher ... it was hard to choose but decided on a washing machine worth £550 :D and this month I already won 9 prizes and its only the 7th. The prizes inc unlimited Merlin Attraction tickets worth £250 and £100 of clothing from a good website. I'm proof that putting in effort really does work.

After entering over 50 competitions a day for over two years I was starting to get a bit disheartened. I was starting to wonder what I did wrong as I was constantly seeing the same names come up on sites as winners again and again. And then it finally happened. Last week I received a winning email saying that I had won a prize from The Perfume Shop. My prize was a 100ml bottle of La Petite Robe Noir Couture by Guerlain Eau de parfum and a 200ml bottle of the matching body milk. I was so excited and couldn't wait to smell it. Well yesterday it arrived and I have to say I love it. It is now going to be my favourite perfume and I hope I will be able to win some more at some point as it isn't cheap ;-)

What I want to say to everyone is don't give up, you will get there in the end :-)

I’ve only been comping for a few months and I have enjoyed it immensely! Not only has it led me to see some wonderful new products but it has also opened my eyes to some lovely people. Oh, and it’s won me some great prizes!

I have recently won a number of things including a yankie candle, a cushion for my room and a pair of designer sunglasses (This was a photograph entry and just being chosen was a great prize in itself!) But lastly my best prize came from the lovely Prizefinder itself! A big box of cupcakes delivered to my door! I couldn’t believe I had won out of the many entries but it was a fantastic prize that I shared with my lovely family!

I really do feel lucky and I think that is a great feeling to be blessed with. Thanks PrizeFinder!

Wisdom Toothbrushes asked for interesting weather facts to win a little prize and luckily they liked my rainbow fact. Did you know that sometimes two rainbows will form at the same time. When this happens, there will be a normal rainbow and outside it will be a larger, more faint rainbow. The second, bigger rainbow, will also have its colours in reverse. Now I have a lovely new toothbrush.

I have had a lucky few months... First winning a bridal package which includes a wedding dress and full grooms outfit and then winning a mini spa weekend holiday to Venice for two. Comping is definitely my new favourite hobby and ThePrizeFinder is my favourite site! Thanks! x
