Meet Our Latest Winners!

I have had a few dryish months with not many wins but this month its picked up again.

It started off with an Amazon voucher win, which a few days later won from the same company again!

Then some Leisure vouchers from a Facebook comp. We have had 2 family meals out on those!!

Several daily spin to wins which I always love - even if they are very small wins - a win is a win.

But my fave has to be my @davelackie win on Twitter which I have pictured - some gorgeous Calvin Klein sunglasses and Calvin Klein perfume which is absolutely gorgeous!

I do a combination of ThePrizeFinder, Twitter, Facebook, Loquax and email comps and also anything I buy that has a competition on I enter - of course I dont buy anything just because it has a comp on it - nooooooooo lol lol

I had a good start to August, on the 1st I had a WEM from The Perfume Shop saying I had won a 50ml bottle of Givenchy Dahlia Divin worth £63.50 and then a week later I was mentioned in a FB comment by Brother UK informing me I was the winner of their comp, I won a Label printer and a £50 notonthehighstreet.com voucher, and then last Friday I had an email saying I've won a can of Silvikrin Mousse. All my wins have been on a Friday this month! lol. I hope next month brings some great wins too. :)

I've always been one of those people, who thought, "No one ever wins those competitions" and if they did win then those people were paid by the company to pretend that they did win! Still I made it my New Years Resolution that I would enter as many competitions as possible just to see if I could win anything.....I cant say that I've done very well lol, but I have however won me a wooden spoon hahaha. It's very typical of me to win something like this but you know what, it comes in good use! I'm addicted to comping in the hopes that maybe I might win one day! As everyone says "You gotta be in it to win it!"

I've had a really dry spell of wins on Facebook and Twitter recently. No matter how many comps I entered I just couldn't win until I won £20 of Poundland vouchers on Twitter. I was really pleased especially as within 30 seconds a notification came up from Facebook - I'd won a 4 pack of The new Tennants lemon lager as well. The same day I got an email telling me I'd won £20 of Amazon vouchers from Asda. I also got my first Instagram win 3 lovely pairs of Heat Holders socks. I'm grateful for every prize, love comping!

I have found The Prizefinder great and really useful as although I enter the Closing soon ones the day before, I always check on the day as well to get the new ones added that day. Most of my prizes these days come from Facebook thanks to The Prizefinder. My August wins are:

The Jasper Conran bag was won from The Peacock Centre, Woking Facebook page who were giving a prize a week away to each winner worth up to £200. You had to visit the shopping centre and take a photo of what you wanted to win and then post it on their page.

I won this HUGE hamper from Yorkshire.com that came from Bettys Tea Rooms!

IT was filled with cakes, biscuits and jams and tea bags etc!!

The value of the prize is £100!!

We are having so much fun going through all the treats and seeing what they taste like!!

Next on my prize wish list is a trip to the ACTUAL Tea rooms in york!!

I was away for most of the month during August, so only have 3 wins. My restaurant vouchers arrived from July so I've included a photo of them. I'm saving them for when I have my university friends to stay in a few weeks time.

My August wins included a £50 Joss and Main voucher which I've spent on a luxury bath mat for my new bathroom I bought from the vouchers in the Direct Blinds competition. Then I won some organic drinks from BerryWhite and a gift box of baby goodies from Shoreline of Cowes.

Just goes to show, when your entry numbers drop, the prize numbers do too! I'm still really pleased with these and can't wait for my bathroom to be finished and will be so proud to know I couldn't have done it without my wins. :)

I finally won a prize!
After comping for a long, long time I had three wins in the space of a month! I was so excited.

I first won a pair of nike trainers! They're gorgeous! I'm still not 100% sure where they came from but they're gorgeous none the less.

The second win was a DVD which I was thrilled with, again unsure where it came from as it was delivered with no information nor email.

The third was from horse&rider. I have won a pair of tickets to a horse event, £100 voucher for horse riding equipment and an autographed saddle pad!
I am thrilled!

Only yesterday I was considering giving up as after months of entering competitions, I'd won nothing. I don't always enter smaller prize competitions due to time constraints so this might be why! However, I came home today to a parcel containing a win from Cine-Vue for season 4 of Boardwalk Empire on DVD! I love this show so really pleased, and thanks to Cine-Vue! Perservere, and it will happen!

After a long dry spell I have had a few small wins in quick succession. A couple of £50 JD sports vouchers. I am buying new trainers with these.
I also received two lots of tickets for Luna cinema at Lulworth Castle. We almost did not go due to weather but we thought it a shame to waste the premium tickets with directors chairs for the performance, free drinks, popcorn and Benefit goody bags. We had a great evening on a balmy but wet night watching Breakfast at Tiffany's in a magical setting last night!
