Meet Our Latest Winners!

My latest competition win - train down to London on Saturday to stay in a Hotel in Paddington. Then on Sunday morning, we (my husband & I) watched the live filming of the Channel 4 TV programme 'Sunday Brunch' with Tim Lovejoy. Had a brilliant time. It was really interesting to see how the filming was done and meet Tim's guests. Hearing and seeing Charlotte Church sing her latest song was definitely a highlight of the trip. Then onto The White Horse in Parson's Green for a beautiful meal (with accompanying selected beer). This was all thanks to TV Extra magazine, and sending a postcard with a 2nd class stamp. Doing competitions gives Jack & I some wonderful experiences we wouldn't get any other way.

On the 16th July I received an email to say that I had won a trip to Croatia for 2 to support the Great Britain Davis Cup Team! I was so shocked, I couldn't speak!
Well, on the 12th September my partner and I flew to Trieste in Italy and were then driven to Umag in Croatia. We attended a Lawn Tennis Association drinks reception to collect our tickets. We were also given t-shirts, a Union Jack Flag and lots of free wine! The following day we watched Andy Murray thrash his opponent 6-3 6-0 6-3, I also snuck down for an autograph and a picture! We didn't get to watch the final 2 matches due to our return flights but now GB have been promoted to the World Group after winning 4-1 I'll be trying to win a prize for their next encounter!

Me and my hubby Nick have just had a wonderful long weekend in Dorset staying in a luxury cottage at Greenwood Grange which I won from Dorset county council and entered online. We had an amazing time staying in beautiful accommodation and they had thought of everything. You could pick fruit and veg from the allotment , get fresh eggs from the chicken, we arrived to homemade biscuits, tea, coffee and milk. There were tennis courts, a lovely heated swimming pool, it was such a relaxing break and we even got to stay in the honeymoon cottage, it was so nice :)

A little while ago I was unlucky enough to suffer a slipped disc and pretty much immobile for over 2 weeks - however my mouse hand was still fine and I put it to good use entering comps on Prizefinder. Yesterday the most enormous box arrived and it turned out to be a computerized telescope! This is something I have always wanted but could never justify the expense of at over £300. So not only am I over the moon, but I will have a pretty darn good view of it as well :-)

I've been an avid comper for over a year now and in the last 6 months I have settled comfortably into using ThePrizeFinder.com to find and enjoy the latest and greatest competitions the interweb has to offer.

I have won all sorts of weird and wonderful things, most recently these Carl Zeiss Cinevision OLED glasses which RRP at almost £600 - From 11,000 entries on very.co.uk my name was randomly chosen...

I cannot believe it... I am already looking forward to play testing these beauties out with my laptop and PS3. I will then pop a review on the company website that provided me with them to see if this is a line of tech they want to go down in the future.

I am very blessed to have been lucky that day and when it comes down to it, it's all luck... some small skill might be used, but random luck is how we all win something.

Having got back from my luxury New York holiday and a 6 month dry spell comping I started to think about holidays for the next 12 months.
Not for long though, within the last few weeks I picked up a hot tub lodge break in Scotland, a Christmas time dinner bed and breakfast 2 night break in a manor house and a holiday to Israel.
To top it off I bagged a 40'' Smart TV too a few days ago.
The only problem I have at the moment is a lack of annual leave to take, its a shame I cant win days off work.
Over the last few years my hobby has netted me in excess of £70,000 in cash, holidays and goods and benefitted family, friends and charities too. I love it.

I recently entered a lovely topiary competition with Joseph Bentley's Facebook page, named Sterling Sculptures, that I found via ThePrizefinder and I won a fabulous garden tool set! I'm certainly not skilled in this craft, in fact this is the only time I've attempted it but my topiary smile came up trumps :)

I've been entering online comps for a few years and had only won one good prize. Since recently joining PrizeFinder I've won 3 prizes! just this weekend I read an email from UkMums saying I'd won a Disney Sky High Tink toy in a Rafflecopter draw. The problem was that it was a reminder email saying if I didn't reply ASAP I would forfeit the prize!
Luckily I was in time and they are still going to send it to me..phew! I don't know how missed the first email but prizes are hard to come by so I didn't want to miss it!

It's been about 6 months since I've had a win so it was great to receive an email telling me I had won a copy of the Japanese horror film Death Game on DVD. It took a little while to arrive but finally turned up after a month. It'll be perfect for the next get together with my friends - a monthly horror film and dinner night.

Cannot believe it, Very chuffed, 2nd win in a week!

A £95 Jeetly Petite Britney Shift dress!! I have only been doing competitions for about 6 weeks but now I'm addicted! I get up an hour early before kids just to enter as many as possible. It's such a buzz when you win something! Especially when you receive a parcel and don't know what it is, like a kid at Christmas!
