Meet Our Latest Winners!

With the six weeks holidays ending and being on holiday, I didn't get time to enter as many as I usually do, but I still had some lovely wins from doing instants and dailies. A couple of days before the kids started back at school, whilst they were eating their lunch, I decided to log on and do a couple, and then carried on cleaning and mopping up after them. Then the day they started back at school, I was so excited to start entering properly again and dreaming about BIG wins when I got a wem from Just Lodges on Facebook. When I opened it I couldn't believe what I won! A SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 2 7.0! My first thought was that it was a scam so I logged onto their Facebook page and saw they had announced me as their winner one of the competitions. I did just a couple of days before and as it's my birthday in a couple of days they sent it wrapped up with "happy birthday" written on it so now my husband has got some competing to do!

I joined ThePrizeFinder in the middle of August and have already experienced the highs and lows of comping!
Last week the postman turned up with a box which my husband eyed suspiciously (he thought I'd gone mad on the credit card) but it turned out to be a wonderful hamper of Palmer's Daily facial products worth £50!! No warning, just turned up out of the blue.
Then just a couple of days later I received an email telling me I was down to the the final 25 people to win one of 3 trips across America from New York to LA. The down side was, to be in with a chance of winning, they wanted to film the trip for You Tube. There was no way my husband would sign up for that so I couldn't continue with that competition. It's hard to get so close to such an incredible prize and then not make it to the end.
However I've definitely got the bug - I just need to make sure I read the small print!!!

I am pleased to say after winning nothing for nearly three months I had an email today.
Apparently it was a prize draw from July run by Dorset Cereals. The goodies are a selection of granola boxes, which I have never tried before. Therefore breakfast will be a nice time to eat something different and better than what I'm used to.
I am so happy as I only enter comps that have prizes I could do with and can share with my family. Still waiting for bigger ones (to shhh the naysayers) but I'm very grateful for the smaller ones that keep me going. I needed good news and it arrived, yay! Thank you ThePrizefinder.

I've been comping since May with ThePrizeFinder and have had a good run of wins including DVDs, £175 worth of clothes, books, VIP tickets to the races, theatre tickets, a BBQ set and a Marc Jacobs perfume.

My first photo competition was pet related and I entered a photo of my dog Noah into the contest with Sticky Fingers Blog. I was delighted when the author's children picked Noah's entry as the winner and today he received his two bags of Pro Plan Duo Delice food worth £90. I have two dogs and regularly have a third staying with me as I foster dogs who are up for adoption so this has been a truly great win for us.

Wins don't come then 3 in a week! First was a competition from Vauxhall to be a flagbearer at the Scotland vs Belgium match, which meant my son would be the flagbearer and 3 free tickets to the match. With Cineworld I won the Heat goodie bag - loved the shot glasses and tried them the same night. Then £100 of gift vouchers through my work. The first two comps were with ThePrizefinder. So keep comping. You have to be to win it and if your name's not down you cant get a win!

Only been comping a few weeks and I've had my second win already. I got a winning email from All About Space magazine to say I won their prize draw for a Celestron computerised Skyprodigy90 telescope worth £750. Very, very pleased and loving comping. It's a fantastic feeling when you see that "Congratulations" email in your inbox.

Today a rather embarrassing prize came in the post - a maternity swimsuit (only I'm not pregnant anymore!)
It was a strange win for me, as I remember pausing before I entered that competition to question 'why am I even submitting this!?' I told myself 'why not', and thought nothing more of it.
Well I've just tried this on and it fits brilliantly (oh dear). As my tummy is only full of curry and rice right now, it's rather embarrassing to admit that a maternity swimsuit is far more comfortable than a normal one. I'd not normally buy either, so this prize is a lovely little indulgence for me. One day I will be wearing it as a pregnant lady again, but for now - it's just hiding my tubby tummy.
Although I'm secretly delighted with this prize, I'm also too nervous to tell my friends and family about it in case they assume another baby is on the way - That'd be a long wait for them!

So I started entering competitions in March of this year, just for something to do really. Problem was I got addicted and despite not winning, and I do mean NOTHING I haven't been able to stop! My family thought I was the craziest person on the planet - spending hours entering literally a 1,000 comps per week and getting nothing in return.

Then, this morning I actually won something! I was so in shock I had to keep reading and re-reading the email! Finally! And what better than diamonds! In fact my initial made up of them in a white gold setting worth approx. £250!

I can honestly say that I am so excited I haven't actually stopped smiling yet!

I know everyone says 'I never win anything!' Well for me, that was literally the case - I have never won a thing, nowt, naddah, zilch.....until today!! Now, I know for most people, these will seem like such a piddly thing, but for me it's massive; I have FINALLY won something for the first time in my 38 years!! I received through the post this morning a ceramic pen that I won in the Kyocera Facebook competition and I'm as pleased as punch. This is all thanks to this site, so thank you PrizeFinder - let's hope it's not another 30+ years until the next win!
