Meet Our Latest Winners!

A lovely win just before Christmas, a £75 John Lewis voucher from a Waitrose competition. I'm going to treat myself to a coffee maker as I have been eyeing them up for a while!

This December I have really put in the comping hours. It is the first time I tried the advent competitions and at times I found this quite overwhelming - even deciding which ones to enter and which one to ignore is very time consuming.
Fortunately, I was lucky enough to be rewarded with not one, but two advent wins. The first was this lovely cake decorating kit from Cake Angels UK. My kids are looking forward to some serious cake decorating in the new year.
Then, a few days later I received a PM from Kitchen Aid - I had won a Pro Plus Blender! This prize I was especially excited about as it was a creative competition, with the winner selected by a panel of three employees. I have tried twice before to win this blender and it was on my third entry that I was selected. I am very much looking forward to receiving this prize soon.
My tip to other campers: Keep going; but when it is no longer fun, stop and rethink. Find a strategy that works for you and keeps it fun. And remember to focus on the prizes you really want.

It was a snowy afternoon, I was curled up on the sofa, in front of a roaring fire...the words jumped out from a recent email at me...Barbados Holiday Winner! My excitement mounted as I continued to read...7 day’s, Suite, Ocean View, All inclusive, drinks package, water sports, butler! As my daughter recently turned 21, I thought this a fitting way to celebrate....This Competition I found on Prizefinder, it was being run by Dorothy Perkins and Elegant Hotels. The promoters have been amazing and despite the t&c saying flights were from London Gatwick they have included transfers from Glasgow. The second part of the prize was £500 of Top Shop vouchers. So Poppy and I will be able to buy some lovely holiday kit. Isn’t Comping amazing! Thank you PF

I was over the moon when I received an email reply to a query I sent regarding the winners of the recent Bucket List Drumstick Competition, which said I was one of the winners, but they had been unable to contact me, and I won a big hamper full of Drumstick goodies, all of which I received and donated to the local Cash4Kids at Christmas - it was nice to be able to do that as my children are both in their 20s and too old for sweets.....I think! Thank you for bringing this creative competition to my notice, as I never would have found it but for you...it was super fun and I also received a certificate saying I was a winner, with my photo I had entered beautifully framed!

I've been finding it hard to get work for about 18 months and things have been a bit difficult. I needed something to focus on to stay up beat and thought I'll have a go at competitions. If I won anything it would be a boost and at least I have tried, were my thoughts.

Anyway - entered lots of competitions and thought nothing much would come of it - until today just after Christmas when a van delivered a parcel to the house.

I'd won a runners up prize of a Dremel Hatch Project Kit! Awesome! It really does make you feel good having a win and it gives me hope that 2018 may be good after all.

Sometimes wins are like buses, nothing for a while then they come together. On the same day, I found out I had won the Tedrad Christmas comp of 2 large Harris Tweed cushions and a cute Teddy Bear I was also told I was the grand prize draw winner of £300 Amazon vouchers. A few days later, my Christmas cracker joke on Facebook won me a Lamb hamper which provided us with a very nice Christmas dinner and 3 other joints for the freezer and then I was sent a £10 M&S gift card. As usual, The Prize Finder website has been my go to source and I wish all my fellow compers a winning New Year.

This was a lovely win I had from a Nisa Local comp on Twitter. Arrived just after I found out a new baby was due in the family soon! Perfect timing! This year has been a good year on the whole. No major wins but plenty of little ones. Lots of books, craft goodies, handbag, food, and bits and bobs. Comping is a great way to pass time and for me takes my mind off my pains and worries. Thank you for all your hard work on this wonderful website.

I've been entering competitions for about 20 years but stopped earlier this year as i wasn't winning anything. However, in December, i was tempted to start entering again by all the Advent Comps on The Prizefinder website. I couldn't believe it when i received an email from a comp i entered on Matching Food & Wine website saying i had won the big prize of a Harvey Nicholls hamper - and here it is. Fabulous! And it's spurred me on again - here's to more wins in 2018 :-)

So The Skiiny online was advertising a competition which I've won. It was cinema tickets for The Glasgow Film Theatre to see The Price of Nothingwood and six DVD bundle (photo).. Nice
