Known as Gastro-Glastonbury, Foodies will take place at Tatton Park from July 7 to 9. The three-day event features cooking demonstrations from top chefs drawn from the ranks of TV’s MasterChef, Great British Bake Off and Great British Menu, plus top-rated Michelin-starred and award-winning chefs.

Sarah Woods will be joined by three MasterChef champions: Tom Rhodes and Irini Tzortzoglou, and Simon Wood of WOOD Manchester along with head chef of The French at The Midland Hotel, Adam Reid; chef patron of The Church Green, in Lymm, Aiden Byrne; Stuart Collins, chef patron of Michelin-recommended restaurant Docket No. 33 in Whitchurch; Dario Calvalho, head chef at 20 Stories in Manchester and pasta maker extraordinaire, Simone Remoli.

Masterclasses in the Drinks Theatre include tutored champagne, beer, cider, cocktail and wine tasting, with presentations from BBC expert, Joe Wadsack, and award-winning local breweries.

In the Kids’ Cookery School, Foodies SuperChefs will help young guests prepare delicious food they can take away and enjoy.

On Friday, July 7, visitors can enjoy the all-new Cocktails, Cabaret and Cake night, while Saturday night brings music from Scouting for Girls. The festival closes on Sunday with a performance from the effervescent Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
