Terms and Conditions
Prize draw closes at 23:59 on Friday 31 May 2024. The winner will be the first entry drawn at random after the closing date and will be contacted by 7 June 2024. One online entry per person. By entering the competition, you agree to participate in promotional publicity. There is one prize consisting of up to £7,500 contribution towards an installation of a Daikin Heat Pump.
The Heat pump must be from the Daikin Altherma range. The homeowner will have apply for the necessary planning permissions and complete forms to qualify for the government grant, but will be guided by a Daikin representative administering the prize. The winner will get an assessment of their home. To be able to have a successfully fitted heat pump, the winner must be the homeowner and freeholder of the property and the property will have to be assessed and confirmed as compatible for a Heat pump installation. On successful application, the system will be fitted by an approved Daikin installer, subject to their availability, and must be installed by 31 December 2024. Should the project come to more than £7,500 plus the government grant of an addition £7,500, the winner will need to pay the difference in cost.
We don’t envisage this being the situation but it will depend upon the kit needed for the house in question. Should the winner of the competition not own a house that complies, they may pass it on to another selected homeowner of choice. This competition is not open to employees of Daikin or to anyone promoting Daikin products. Entrants must be 18 years or over and can contact Shine about any queries by emailing competitions@shinecreativesolutions.co.uk.
Should the prize-winner have already had a Daikin heat pump fitted within the past 5 months and are able to provide proof of purchase of Daikin kit they will be able to get this prize money back to reimbourse for their renovation project. Again, this will be up to the value of £7,500 and no higher. For anyone living in an area where there is no government funding scheme, then you will still be eligible for the £7,500 but no grant on top of that will be available.
The prize cannot be used against non-Daikin products already purchased and there is no cash alternative available. Any desired changes to the home or structure to install the prize is at the prizewinner’s cost. The promoter is Shine Creative Solutions Limited and prize provider is Daikin. The heat pump must be serviced annually, by a qualified Daikin engineer, at the winner’s cost. Details of the prizewinner will be shared with Shine Creative Solutions Limited to administer the prize.
