In Air New Zealand's Premium Economy cabin, the in-flight experience is already a step up on the ordinary, with more generous legroom, a comprehensive in-flight entertainment service and the added extra of luxury amenity kits courtesy of Aotea, where you can pamper yourself with its skincare products, each one made using native New Zealand flora and taking inspiration from traditional Maori herbal practices.
You won't find typical flight food on Air New Zealand's routes. Their menus are packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients that are directly inspired by local flavours – with the tasty added extra of a modern Kiwi twist. New Zealand hapuka with smoked mussels, garlic salt crushed potatoes, steamed spinach is one of our favourites on the menu. The on-board wine list is also filled with vintages made by some of the country's most renowned winemakers, to help wash down the excellent cuisine.
After you land in Auckland, New Zealand is your oyster, whether it's exploring the Maori culture of Rotorua, the wine region of Hawke's Bay or the widescreen landscapes of the South Island.
