The hotel is discreetly located on Half Moon Street, a haven from the bustle of Mayfair’s exclusive boutiques, fine-dining restaurants and cultural attractions, yet within easy reach of the capital’s key sights.
Beyond the historic facade – seven Georgian townhouses were linked to create The Mayfair Townhouse – the interiors are whimsical, playful and always unexpected.
Free from the constraints and traditions of a regular hotel, there is no room at The Mayfair Townhouse that has not been thoughtfully curated. Throughout, visitors will spot the hotel’s mischievous motif, a fox, while the elegantly bohemian decor and eclectic art collection pay tribute to the dandies that once frequented the neighbourhood, including Oscar Wilde.
The heart and soul of the Townhouse is the aptly named Dandy Bar. Inspired by the characters of Mayfair’s past and present, this is a theatrical, subtly lit, sophisticated space where you will find eclectic signature drinks and a curated list of cocktails, paired with smaller shareable plates.
