Created by

To continue the International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day celebrations this March, we’re bringing our Mumsnet users the chance to win tickets to see CABRINI. Celebrate strength, resilience and female empowerment with three of your friends while watching this captivating film that certainly resonates with the spirit of the month.

CABRINI details the life of Catholic missionary Francesca Cabrini, portrayed by Cristiana Dell'Anna, as she encounters resistance to her charity and business efforts in New York City. The film explores the sexism and anti-Italianism faced by Cabrini and others in New York City during the late 19th Century.

The film is a powerful story that transcends boundaries, and showcases the journey of women breaking free from societal norms, embracing their identities, and conquering challenges with unwavering determination.

To celebrate its release, Mumsnet users now have the chance to win four tickets - for you and three friends - to watch the film in a cinema near you. And that’s not all. The lucky winner will also receive a £250 Fortnum and Mason The Celebration Hamper that’s filled with the brand’s finest tipples, including soothing tea, champagne and wine along with biscuits and sweet treats.

About the film

Cabrini, directed by Alejandro Monteverde, tells the inspiring true story of Italian immigrant Frances Cabrini arriving in disease-ridden, crime-infested New York City in 1889. Against all odds, she embarks on a mission to secure housing and healthcare for the city's most vulnerable, defying societal norms of the time.

Starring Cristiana Dell’Anna and featuring John Lithgow and David Morse, the film releases in the UK and Ireland on March 15, 2024, with previews on March 8 for International Women’s Day.
