Ready your sea legs and brace the main sail! Gloucester Tall Ships Festival is back for 2024 and this year’s shindig looks totally epic.

Taking place over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, from Sat 25 May – Mon 27 May, this bi-annual party celebrates the city’s quirky sea-fairing heritage. Gloucester’s flagship festival features an epic three-day live music line-up, the Smugglers’ Market filled with exotic food and drink, a traditional funfair, interactive installations, a boat-load of family activities and of course the famous Tall Ships themselves.

Amongst the confirmed vessels is the Phoenix, which recently featured in Ridley Scott’s blockbuster Napoleon, an authentic 18th Century ship, this 112ft 8-sailed brig is the real deal!
