We've teamed up with ICHF – the organisers of Makers Central, the UK’s largest gathering for inventors, makers and DIY enthusiasts – to give away a pair of tickets to the show, which returns to Birmingham NEC for its fifth year running from 18–19 May 2024.

The highly anticipated fun family event for budding inventors is once again bringing together makers, creators and DIY enthusiasts from across the country and beyond.

British inventor and YouTube star, Colin Furze, will be headlining the event, which will allow families to get hands-on with inventions, interactive displays and the latest tools and tech. From woodworking to metalworking, electronics to leathercraft, visitors can get creative and be inspired by leading makers and participate in various demonstrations and workshops throughout the two-day event.

A scrap wood competition will invite visitors to test their recycled material skills and compete against each other in a making challenge.

Held annually, the exhibition showcases the latest tools, materials and techniques in the world of making. The event brings together makers from all corners of the UK and beyond, offering the perfect opportunity to network, share ideas and learn from other makers. Explore the exhibitor stalls, take part in hands-on workshops and watch live demonstrations from some of the country's most talented makers.

Tickets for Makers Central are available to purchase via the website. Early Bird tickets are priced at £25, with all tickets purchased after 15 May priced at £35.

Makers Central is the UK’s largest gathering of makers, creators and DIY enthusiasts. Launched in 2018, the annual show draws thousands of visitors from around the UK and further afield. The event aims to inspire, educate and entertain through showcasing products, makers, skills and techniques across a range of disciplines.
