Hi, I'm writing this one only as a warning to all you compers out there who put the time & effort in to have the chance to win some great prizes.

Some of you might remember J20 having a promotion called J20GoldenHour where you sent a picture in (via twitter in my case). Well, I won....Some Rayban Aviators. I replied to a DM off twitter the same day asking me to email a certain department. So I did. 1 month later still no response.

After several messages too and from J20 they have said today 09/09/2014 that I am now NOT a winner because THEY can't find an e mail from me (and as we all know, us compers don't miss claiming prizes) well I don't and I've been told as I can't prove sending it I have not met their T's & C's. Which is rubbish!!

A lesson to be learnt from this is NEVER permanently delete sent messages via e mail until the prize has arrived. PLEASE KEEP A RECORD!!!

I am TOTALY disgusted in the way they have dealt with me and so please be aware of competitions like this in the future.

Let this be a lesson to us all, you've not won a prize until it's been delivered.

I started comping around 4 months ago, and I'm hooked. I visit the prizefinder daily. I work from home so can easily allow this. So far, I have won..

It was a lovely surprise when I checked my email and found a "congratulations" message. I was a runner up had won 4 adult price vue cinema tickets and a £50 pizza express voucher in the house of secrets promotional competition.
I was thrilled to bits as it had been ages since I won anything and I had pretty much given up entering stuff. I couldnt even remember entering the competition! So it inspired me to keep at it as its worth the effort!

After reading about the great prizes to be won I decided to start entering, imagine my surprise when I received an email saying I'd won an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite from Bahlsen biscuits. It arrived with packets of biscuits too which my children were ecstatic about! I'm now entering more and hoping to win again

As I mentioned in my last winning story I won two Biscuiteers 'Spotty Dotties' a couple of days apart and here they are. I still haven't eaten them yet. Anyone who has won one already will know that they come in a beautiful box and are well protected in the post. I did win one some months ago and kept the box for sentimental reasons - they are so pretty. Since the beginning of September I have also won two Winter in Venice Pamper packs. I have been told that I won one of the 5 runner up prizes of a Nikon camera from London Evening Standard and some cycling sunglasses (Spiuk) arrived in the post yesterday. Not bad for September already eh?! Without PrizeFinder I couldn't win all this, so thanks very much to all of you.

After a year-long winning drought (despite entering lots of comps), I finally received a winner's email this week to tell me I am one of the winners of the Radisson Blu Social Eyes competition. The prize is a free night at any of their participating hotels worldwide. The competition involved providing travel tips for cities where Radisson Blu have hotels, and winners were picked each week. I entered a couple of tips about hidden cocktail bars in London and Birmingham and was thrilled to win in the very last week of the competition. I'm planning to use the prize to stay in a 5 star London hotel with my best friend and go in search of more quirky cocktail bars :-).

I started comping again 3 weeks ago. I went straight back to ThePrizeFinder as I won my Christmas Kelly Bronze Turkey with their help 4 years ago. Guess what?... An email arrived yesterday from Tastebuds Magazine to say that I have won a three course meal for two and an overnight stay at Mill End Hotel in Devon. Thank you! My husband and I are so looking forward to this treat.

It was on a dark, wet January day this year that I received a call from Paramount Pictures stating I'd won a trekking holiday for 2 to Mont Blanc!
This was a promotional competition for the film Nebraska and was being run by The Daily Telegraph.
I remember entering the competition through Theprizefinder.com and this win was just the tonic, as I was recovering from back injuries sustained from a serious car crash in December 2013.
Getting fit to enjoy this trip was my goal. In August 2014 I took my brother, and we flew to Geneva with Swissair, transferred to Chamonix and began our 14 day trek around Mont Blanc, visiting France, Switzerland and Italy.
It was a superb trip with a challenging 105 miles walked in total over the 2 weeks, with 12 other people in the group. We all camped in tents every night and this added to a great Alpine experience.

The old adage that you have to be in it to win it is so true. I have had two more wins, we were having a quite summer holiday at home, though not through choice. So I had been entering every competition going for tickets to the Lollybop Festival at Hatfield House, and got a family pass for a day, there was so much to do. I also won a DVD. I love my rock music, and won: "Don't Stop Believin: Everyman's Journey", the story of how a Youtube singer became the new vocalist for an old rock group, fascinating. I wonder if it could happen to me?

August has been a bit of a lean month really but I did win an Inbetweeners 2 t-shirt from Rollover Hotdogs on FB (loved the film) and also I was one of the winners of the recent Florette #SaladWars competition. I won John Lewis Orb weighing scales which is great, but I'm more excited about the fact that they're going to make my recipe (strawberry and peppercress creme brûlée) and it will be professionally photographed! This is the great thing about entering competitions; the scope to win that elusive money-can't-buy experience!
