  • Marvellous May

May kicked off with a win on two consecutive days- £50 worth of cereal bars on the 1st May and £13 the following day. All was quiet for another week before I had an email to say I'd won two tickets to the RHS Malvern Spring Show! As an avid gardener, this was an exciting win and gave us a lovely sunny family day out.

My final win in May was £250 shoe vouchers with Sole Bliss- a company that specialises in making footwear for ladies with bunions. I don't have bunions, but chose two pairs of boots that are both stylish and comfortable.

Thank you Prize Finder for an exciting month. Fingers crossed for a successful June!

I can't even BELIEVE IT! I have been, secretly, ashamedly (my partner disapproves!) comping on and off for a couple of years and always had small wins (max £200 in goods or experiences).

Suddenly I find I've won the Sunday Times "Where am I?" competition!
Private Villa on Paxos (off Corfu)
    Flights, Ferry, Carry Hire!
All we have to do is feed ourselves!

I'm OVER THE MOON. Finally I have something to hold up and say "See I wasn't wasting my time!!"

I promise that I will do my best to help other people have as much luck and fun as I have had - what a thrill!

  • This Morning Live winner!

I had a lovely surprise this month with an email from Live Radio to say I had won 2 tickets to visit the This Morning Live show at the Birmingham NEC for either a Saturday or a Sunday. I had entered the competition through the Prize Finder website. It was a lovely excuse for a weekend trip, and was something we wouldn’t usually have done. I love This Morning, and we had a brilliant time wandering around the stalls trying out the free gin samples! I haven’t won a competition for a while so it was exciting to get the email, and the tickets were worth £27.50 each so it was really worth it.

  • My biggest win

I’ve had quite a lucky year so far with a few good wins including a pass for the local trampoline park and a £25 garden centre voucher from local competitions. I also won a dvd set from a blog post Rafflecopter which I found on Prizefinder but my big win was an amazing Nighthawk. A 12v electric ride on for kids (and big kids) from a Facebook competition run by the makers, Roleplay. It arrived in a huge, heavy box and is really quite stunning. It’s like a sledge on wheels. My little boy is absolutely delighted and so am I. I’ve been using Prizefinder for a few years now and had a few small wins and a couple of bigger ones but this is definitely the best so far. It has certainly encouraged me to make sure I check the closing competitions each day so I don’t miss one.

  • Instagram win!

Although most Instagram competitions usually are won by bloggers, I managed to win a pack of gluten free, dairy free protein powders. The company also send me a receipes cards and I will try make vegan “cheese” dip and chocolate bars. This powder is made from peas and this is my favourite green. I am very very happy with this prize.
It is not right that only bloggers win on Instagram, something should be done about it. Let hope there is a future for average compers like most of us here. I will try ack promoters to make life draw winner if possible.

  • Low Entry Laptop Lovely Win!

I was lucky enough, thanks to the Prizefinder, to find a very low entry comp on Twitter and what you had to do was to name any item in the special little Easter video from the site's catalogue list - having seen the previous entry, I just changed the order, and relisted the items with some changes, and received a message that my entry was a winner along with the other entry - WE WERE THE ONLY TWO ENTRANTS! Social media can be overloaded with entries so it was very surprising, and we got to choose our prizes from all the items - I chose a really snazzy laptop backpack and it has its own little waterproof cover, charging port, and plenty of space for me to take to work every single day! Worth nearly £40 too! Thank you Prizefinder!!

  • Free tickets to All Points East

I checked my emails recently and saw I had received tickets to the festival All points East. I don’t remember exactly where I applied for this competition (obviously via Prize Finder) but it was a great surprise.

I had the tickets already so we just had to rock up on Sunday. The bands were pretty good and we had a few drinks to celebrate. Overall a great prize.

It’s so important to ensure you read your emails as I may have missed them but thankfully I didn’t. I’m now having room ramble on to fill the minimum 500 words for this post. It’s lovely weather outside right now, sunshine in London but I’m stuck in the middle seat on the train next to a man who keeps sniffing them swallowing really loudly. There was no men like this at All Points East.

In my 3rd win since starting comping on prizefinder last November I was luck to win a National Express prize consisting of 2 VIP seat tickets for the England v Czech Republic game & free coach travel also. We set off on a coach from Birmingham & straight to the car park right outside Wembley. It was a fantastic day & was my son's 1st time at Wembley, to win 5-0 was the icing on the cake. I have been delighted with prize winnings so far & keep dreaming to get lucky & bag a family holiday in the future. Fingers crossed!
