Meet Our Latest Winners!

After not winning any competitions in ages I had almost given up hope. One day on my break at work I decided to check my emails and was very surprised to receive one titled Congratulations Lucy! I was very surprised to find out I had won a Thorntons Harry the Hopalot bunny from Ashleigh money saver. I was over the moon! Unfortunately it was a very hot day when I received my prize and Harry arrived melted to the side of the box. I was so disappointed. I emailed the people at Ashleigh money saver with a picture who was equally disappointed as I was. They quickly emailed me back and told me not to worry and that they would sort something out. A few days passed and there was a knock at the door, it was a man from Thorntons with a great big box for me! I carefully opened it and inside was a giant egg that weighed exactly 1kg 13oz! I was extremely grateful and lucky to have my prize replaced, here is a picture of my lovely egg below!

Jersey Royal potatoes FB page is running a weekly photo competition to show how you're using JR in cooking. I've received an e-mail that I've won 2 weeks ago, but not sure what was the prize (their FB page also didn't announce that week's prize)..so it's gonna be a surprise. It's worth to get involved, as the prizes will go up in value.

My friend told me about Prizefinder back in January and by February I was entering competitions every day but after a couple of months and no wins I considered giving up. Then I received an email telling me I had won two tickets in April to Grand Designs in London which was a great day out, we even got a goodie bag of freebies as we went in! These were followed by a signed cook book I won through Twitter then chocolate eggs in a Sky comp I was a runner up in, all in the same month! I'm hoping this is the start of my winning streak. After a winning drought of around 4 months, finally won a Limited Edition Print of my choice from Richard Buckley on Facebook. I'd been following for sometime hoping to win one of his abstracts, but I am more than happy with his current series, which will be perfect for our daughter's room :)

I was really pleased to win competitions from two brand new (to me!) mediums last month. Firstly I won my first ever Twitter competition - a car air freshener. It was proof that Twitter comps *are* winnable, at least. Then I won a beautiful necklace (pictured) from Moon Tide Jewellery on Instagram. Other wins for April included books from Goodreads, a DVD, and a backpack and water bottle from Facebook. Fingers crossed for May!

I have to say that 2015 has started very successfully and although, my latest win may not be the most valuable, it certainly was exactly what I wanted. This beautiful watch has just arrived in time for my birthday as my special treat. I love, love, love it! Yet again, I have to say a BIG thank you to ThePrizeFinder for all these fantastic comps!

I started comping again at the beginning of April as I have had a bit of a break from it this year, after entering over 2000 comps I received a message on the 1st May telling me I had won this massive beanbag, my children are arguing over it already and it hasn't arrived yet, Happy comping everyone and Good Luck x

I've had lots of success comping within the last 18 months. I often follow a bit of a pattern of having a dry spell and feeling despondent about the process, only to suddenly have a really great win which really remotivates me. Winning an iPad this week is one of my biggest wins to date and everyone I know is really shocked when I tell them I won one. I've always wanted an iPad but could never afford something so expensive so I am delighted. Patience and perseverence really pay off. I'm just hoping for a new games console next!

After only starting comping properly in February, I've had a few small wins. But this week I got a tweet from my local shopping centre saying I'd won a meal for 2 at the new Handmade Burger Co Restaurant in my town!! I'm collecting my prize on Saturday and will be eating there in the evening with my friend!

I was absolutely astounded to win this lovely hamper from a competition listed on ThePrizefinder - trouble is, I can't remember which one and this arrived with the postman out of the blue beautifully wrapped and full of delicious food in time for Easter so I am absolutely certain it was won in an Easter competition!! I was really pleased to win it and love using the Prizefinder to find more competitions that I would normally be able to do on my own without any help!! Thank you for my lovely win - we have two 20+ children still living at home, so food is a very useful prize to win!!
