  • Off to a great start!

    Tuesday, February 8, 2011

I only started using your website in the Christmas holidays when I found myself with time on my hands (now that my boys are getting older and prefer time with their friends than time with me!).
I love the way you have a separate section for Tie Breakers as the challenge of these types of competitions appeals to me. Knowing, however, how many entries each competition is likely to get, I resigned myself to the fact that it would be a long time before I would win anything. Imagine my delight then when at the beginning of February I received an e-mail to say I had won a £25 book token for saying which was my favourite book from 2010 and why! I know it is not a life-changing win, but being a single mum it will be a real luxury to treat myself to some books just for me. My eldest sons reaction was "great, I can choose myself some Chris Ryan books", but I soon put him straight as to who would be doing the choosing!

My daughter was off school with tonsilitis, so whilst she was watching DVDs I went on ThePrizefinder and entered a few of the amazing daily competitions. To my amazement when I checked my emails 3 days later I had a congrats message to say i was the winner of the espresso machine!!! I'm so made up! Coffee's all round haha. Thanks Theprizefinder, keep up the good work.

  • I have won so much in 3 years!

I started comping when I fell pregnant with my first baby 3 years ago. My husband works shifts and entering competitions keeps me busy when he is working or sleeping during the day. I was a little sceptical when I first started but let me tell you the comps are real and so are the winners!
I have won so much in 3 years including a watch, DVDs, clothes, and so much make up and skincare products I could start my own beauty shop. The things I have won are a real treats, I would never normally have the money to spend on these extras.
It's so exciting getting that email or that surprise package though the post. My family always like to come round and have a poke about my prize cupboard to see if there is anything they could nab!
Now I'm on to my 2nd baby and have been busily trying to win some baby things, as always fingers crossed.

  • I won a 42" plazma and £675.00

I've just recieved a 42" LG Plazma tv (thin casing) and a windfall of £675. Our 32" LCD TV that we won through theprizefinder.com died before Christmas and we could not afford to get it repaired, so having won the money on Wednesday this week, we were contemplating getting the 32" repaired. I found someone to repair it for £39 then before I could take it to him, out of the blue came this 'congrats you've won' note for an all singing and dancing LG Plasma TV. Thanks theprizefinder.com a great start to the New Year and my 2nd TV win through your site.

  • Three years of comping success

I've been entering competitions through ThePrizeFinder for about three years now and have won some fantastic prizes. The biggest prizes have been a weeks all inclusive holiday to Turkey (which was amazing, the hotel is in my picture!), a spa break at Ragdale Hall, flowers for a year from Wiseman Dairies and a 32 inch TV with Lloyds bank. It's certainly addictive once you start and the small prizes like DVDs and books keep you motivated to keep going for a big prize. Thanks ThePrizeFinder!

  • Finally starting to win!

    Wednesday, January 5, 2011

I have been using theprizefinder.com for just under 3 years now and I am not very lucky. After 2 years of entering all of the comps, I have finally won 2 in the same week! On New Year's Eve I got an email saying I'd won a designer watch and then one from Mars bar saying I have won a winter pack including many winter essentials like scarves ands gloves! I am so thankful to theprizefinder.com!

  • An unforgettable trip to Disneyland Paris

I have just returned from a fantastic holiday to Disneyland Paris with my wife and grandson. Many thanks to The Prizefinder.com, and to Littlewoods who made it all possible. I have never won anything this big before. I got a phone call from Littlewoods to say that I had won the Disney Pixar Up competition which included first class tickets on Eurostar staying at the 4 star New york hotel in Disneyland Paris, all entrance tickets to the theme parks, and £250 spending money, in total a prize worth a whopping £1,750. Once again thank you The Prizefinder.com for some great memories I will never forget, and from my 5 year old grandson, a great big hug.

  • Wacky Winner

My daughter entered a Grandpa In My Pocket Competition on fun kids and won the DVD along with a Gold Card pass to for the Wacky Warehouse to play free for a year. Embarrassingly when we went to collect the prize and do the photo shoot all the other children on a busy weekend got kicked off the play area but Lydia loved been the centre of attention and having an audience. Fortunately all children got an extra half hour of play and they brought Wendy and Wesley the mascots out to see everyone, so everyone was happy and she now thinks shes famous as she appeared in the Yorkshire Evening Post. We have used the pass a few times since and its one of her favourite places to visit.

  • One mans prize is another mans present...

I am a romantic and love nothing more than to surprise my wife with a present I know she’ll love but that’s not really been an option for a while now as I’m out of work with a severely damaged back. However entering competitions through ThePrizeFinder has made up for that as I enter ones that I’d like to win or something that I’d love to give my wife as a present or something to make friends and families birthdays/Christmas easier for us. So far we have won a PSP, Sex and the City (series 1-6) complete boxset, 80GB PS3, £500 of Disney vouchers, a limited edition Lord Voldemort doll and £250 of Red Letter vouchers (yup I’ve been meaning to write this for a while now). To be honest most of the prizes got given as presents (to friends, family and my wife) which meant our limited budget has stretched further than it would otherwise or sold to get towards things we needed at the time but either way ThePrizeFinder has really helped me feel like being unemployed and housebound doesn’t mean you can’t still spoil your loved ones from time to time.

  • Winning Brings Fame!

    Saturday, October 23, 2010

I never in a million years thought that entering a competition would bring fame to my family, but that is exactly what happened when I entered a national Birds Eye competition. Having been chosen as one of the 100 winning families whose prize included £100, family National Trust Membership for a year, camcorder and camera and £100 Birds Eye Vouchers, our family also won the opportunity to have a photo shoot to appear as the 'Family of Birds Eye' launching their new family pie. It was certainly a 'money-can't buy experience'. We had the Head Chef from Birds Eye come to our house and cook a meal in our kitchen, together with a photographer from News Of The World. We had to pose for over an hour to get the precise photoshoot they wanted. My family felt like famous models - it was so much fun. The advert appeared in the News Of The World for two consecequtive weeks and in The Sun three days in a row! Before leaving us the chef loaded our freezer with tasty food including - you've guessed it - a family chicken pie!
