Share Your August Wins

Hello everyone!  How is your week going, any nice wins to report?  Here we are again in another fresh. new month - August!  The school holidays are in full swing here, and it would be great if only the weather would dry out a bit and warm up!  We have been getting some family days in where we can, but to be honest we have been doing a lot of indoor activities – including trawling the Komping Kids section of The PrizeFinder!

July was a complete wash out for me; I didn’t win one single, solitary prize!  The summer months are historically bad for me in terms of prizes, as my priorities shift with school holidays etc, but I must admit this has been a really bad one!  If you are having a dry spell too, don’t worry as by September things should start to pick back up – but don’t quote me on that!

Anyway, let’s take a look at what some of our luckier members have been winning during July 2017!

Szekeres101 had a good start to the month by winning an alcoholic lollipop and sweets from a Twitter comp, and went on to win a pair of tickets for the British Horse event with Horse & Country Magazine.  Abumo1 won a book from a Facebook comp, and then managed to win an apple slicer also on Facebook and a Fung Yu Yoga DVD - well done!  Luckylara had a couple of nice wins this month including a Hppychick hip seat from a Twitter comp and some fab photo and video editing software worth £50 – perfect for all those holiday snaps!  Mapleacorn thought July was going to be a quiet month, but they were wrong as they managed to win a Sunday lunch for two at a Manor House, five bridesmaids’ dressing gowns, some Clean Heels from a Facebook comp, a pair of Ego heels and a slate heart for them to paint their wedding itinerary on to – how lovely!  Hamish666 also won himself a Cheerz box of 30 photos from a blog comp – these will come in handy for printing of those summer memories. 

VillageFox had a scary comper moment this month when she realised that she had missed a winning email confirmation of a prize win – in fact she had missed three emails relating to the prize!  Thankfully the promoter was understanding and she was still able to claim the fab 12-month subscription to KidsCast, which will help entertain her son during the rainy summer holiday days!  She also managed to win some other lovely prizes this month including two Moshi Monster mystery boxes from a Twitter party, a SleepzzUntil holiday buddy also from a Twitter party and a box of yummy Seabrooks crisps from Twitter too – brilliant prizes!
