Share Your October Wins

Hello everyone!  How is your week going, any nice wins to report?  Well, September has come and gone (not sure how or where), the children are settled back into school and the nights are drawing in.  October is one my favourite months as it really seems to mark the start of autumn-proper and the run up to the festive season can begin (at least for us, I know not everyone likes to get into the Christmas spirit so early!) 

September wasn’t too bad a month for me in the end, as I managed to win four quite nice prizes – let’s take a look at them:

• A Minnie Mouse figurine, from the Andrea Louise blog
• A retro playground fun pack, from Kickers on Instagram
• A family ticket to Disney on Ice, from the 50Connect website
• A bottle of Alive vitamins, from Alive on Twitter

I had a good spread of winning entry methods this month, as I have been trying not to concentrate on any one type of competition – and it seems to be paying off.  Let’s take a look at what some of our members have been winning during September 2017:

Mapleacorn had some lovely wins to tell us about this month including tickets to the Southampton Boat Show with drinks and a scarf, and Villagefox won herself a SnoBall battle pack from Twitter – nice one!  Carolemmett started back comping again this month and has already won herself a Mr Men & Little Miss Collection from a blog comp – welcome back to the comping family, and I hope to read about many more of your wins!  Hamish666 had another good month this month bagging some lovely prizes including some books, a Sylvanian Families set, some Bayliss & Harding hair care products, some vitamins, a back to school bundle and some fabric glue – what an impressive haul! 

Once again Joan and her husband have been living up to the title of The King & Queen of comping, having had another successful month.  Between them they have won such lovely prizes as an Aurella necklace set, a set of baking utensils, £150 of Star Wars merchandise, a £100 gift voucher for EMP and a hard backed book!  It’s great that you guys comp together as a hobby – my husband likes to get involved with the Advents too, so hoping he can rack up some wins this year to – well done you two!

Rozplants got in touch this month to tell us that she had just gotten back from a wonderful trip to Chamonix in France, which she won from a competition with The Times listed on The PrizeFinder!  When she told the other guests how she came to be on the trip they were thrilled for her and said they would like to start comping too – even the reps were using her story at the welcome meeting for the next guests!  What a brilliant break you must have had, and how lovely to be able to inspire new compers with the story too – well done!
