  • sally do dally winner extraordinaire!!

Myself and my husband are 60 now and desparate to retire. Been comping for 14 years and won loads, household goods, toys, food, allsorts, been very renumerative. Anyway, decided we couldn't afford another holiday because we need to save so we can retire becuse we don't want to work until 66!! So we were a bit down - no more holidays EVER!!!, But guess what, I have won a cottage holiday from Cornwall Living magazine, so we got big smiles now on our little faces. Keep comping, sometimes it gets a bit lean and you might not win for a couple of months, but then that postman will come staggering up the driveway with a few parcels and its all worth it again. Recently I won the babyworld summer bundle worth £200, I had a years supply of milk, which saved us pounds, £100 worth of boots from the muck boot company which my husband loves and wears them to work every day. My only rule is I only enter looking for prizes for me and my family, I would not enter to sell, if you don't want it, let someone have it who really wants it. Keep Comping!!

I recently returned from a family trip to Washington DC, it was a prize I won on absolute radio. I couldn't believe I got through to the radio in the first place and was absolutely thrilled that I won. I text my two daughters and they thought I was joking, I don't think they believed me until I got the email the following week. We had an amazing trip and stayed in a fantastic hotel, got to see the white house, went to museums, ate in great restaurants and did a load of shopping.

I was thrilled to receive these smart Rollasole shoes from a Superdrug and Johnson text win. Entering text competitions Is quick and easy. I don't usually do the really expensive texts unless it is something I really want. Most of these competitions work out even cheaper than the cost of a stamp. It's always great to win something whether it is big or small,

  • Yours HSL Recliner chair bigest win ever !

    Friday, October 2, 2015

I won a £1216 top of the range HSL recliner chair from a competition on yours.co.uk. It is so cool to win this amazing hand crafted chair handmade in the UK by skilled craftsmen who have years of experience in designing and building high-quality furniture. I was able pick the colour I wanted to so I went for the red rose patten. This was so big it did not fit through the door in the box it was delivered in. But It is made in two parts so I managed to get up the stairs and into my room with a little help. No sure if I am going to keep this it is too big for my tinny box room and look out of place would look better in a new flat with similar themed rose decoration. This is the biggest prize I have won so far comping via the prize finder but their is some is something extra special winning something hand made my professional crafts people who obviously care about their work. Thank to everyone !

I had a few nice wins in September - a 'back to school' bundle of books from Harper Collins worth £100, flower clips from a blog on Tumblr, an anime DVD from Neo Magazine, and some books from Goodreads. Even the dog got in on the act with a packet of treat bones from Webbox.

I also tried running a blog competition of my own for the first time. It was good fun and hopefully it will be the first of many!

i had a phone call from Channel 4 to say I had won there Film 4’s SummerScreen season to watch the UK premiere of Me and Earl and the Dying GIrl , it also included a night at the savoy, would I still like the prize....... YES.
We got to the Savoy and were told we had been upgraded to a Suite, my jaw hit the floor. We got taken up to our suite, it over looked the London eye, it was bigger than my house. Didn't go to the film as it was an outdoor screening and it was raining, but went to a show instead.

Back in June I won an amazing holiday from the Lonely Planet website. The winning email said:

"Thank you for entering the competition in the May 2015 Lonely Planet Traveller to Win A Road Trip in British Columbia. I am very pleased to let you know that Lonely Planet contacted us this week to advise that you have won the prize of the trip for 2. Congratulations!! We are very excited to have you visit our Province and for you to experience the outstanding itinerary..."

    The incredible itinerary is:
Return economy flights for two from the UK to Vancouver
Six days’ car hire with insurance included
Two nights at the Georgian Court Hotel, Vancouver
Two nights’ full board at Relais & Châteaux’s Sonora
Resort, plus one-hour eco-adventure tour, spa vouchers,
access to virtual golf course, cinema and tennis courts
One night at Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria
Return ferry crossings and water taxis included

I've had a look at all three hotels & they are unbelievable!!! They are all way out of our usual price range (holiday inn usually!!!) so this will be a real treat! We are going next June so we have a chance of seeing whales & bears, and luckily my mum has agreed to stay at our house to look after the kids while we have a couples break!

  • Happy for hampers

I love winning hampers, especially foodie hampers, but it's very rare that I manage to score one. This month I've been especially lucky, because I've won a big organic hamper from the Soil Association, chocolates from Guylian, a posh hamper from London and a surprise box of Jordan's granola has also turned up from their monthly draw. I've decided to make Christmas hampers for my family and now I will be able to fill them with delicious goodies.
