Meet Our Latest Winners!

Hayes Garden World ran a competition on Facebook and their main webpage to win one of 12 Christmas Trees. Usual like/share/comment affair. Pretty long shot to win it but they were giving 12 away to winners as well as 12 away to charity, so worth entering regardless.

So my name got pulled out of the hat, announced on their webpage, then there was a mix up because I thought they were to contact me rather than the other way around. Eventually I messaged them on Facebook, discovered the latter was the case, sent them my details and 36 hours later (6 sleeps before Christmas Day) this 6ft artificial pre-lit Christmas Tree turns up via courier.

Set up and lit up it certainly looks the £289.99 these would normally set you back buying direct, but we added a few baubles and dangly decorations later because we like gaudy. Our old tree was also artificial, 4 years old, but starting to get a bit tatty, so this is the perfect replacement.

Lots of little prizes are also winging their way, books, gadgets, merchandise, 1kg of Haribo, Yardley gift sets and so on. December has been really good to me with respect to having my name pulled out of various hats. But this tree is a real, vivid and 6-foot tall reminder that although it's a lot of hard work sometimes, you gotta be in it to win it :)

I actually won my 1st ever hamper, a Haribo christmas hamper. I was shocked that I won one. I keep hearing about people winning hampers but at last I actually won one yay :)

When I got the hamper you should have seen my kids' faces when we opened the box that the hamper was in. It was priceless!

Well this month I haven't had any big wins but I have won enough small prizes to fill all our stockings for Xmas. This includes CDs, DVDs books, chocolate and makeup. So hoping for a big win before the new year bells ring. Happy comping guys. I will keep doing the advents as you never know whats round the corner.

I entered a competition on the Woman and Home website for a Murad skincare set worth £250, and I won. My current moisturiser is just running out so it's come at the right time, and it has other items in the kit that I don't use, but will now get to try and see if they make my skin glow!

I joined the prize finder about 6 weeks ago, thinking its worth a try and I was so excited to receive my first WEM - I'd won a child's watch which was claimed pretty quickly by my daughter, swiftly followed by my son saying well what are you going to win for me? So I carried on and I have been lucky enough to win a few other comps, I have won tickets to see Will.i.am, 4 tickets to see Cinderella at Bristol HIppodrome, a baby bib, hat scarf and glove set and two cook books!!!!! Thanks for this site I love the buzz of winning!!!

I couldn't believe it but I had a large parcel delivered and discovered it was full of baby toys. So I selected some for my grandson for Christmas and then donated the remainder to our church for the mother and baby room.

The day after another box arrived and I have won Micky Mouse club house - another gift for my grandson so now I've already done his Christmas shopping.

I was so really pleased to receive these items as it was going to be a tight Christmas money wise but my grandson is now well kitted out.

This year I've been trying to do more effort competitions.

I came across one on the Very.co.uk Facebook page to strike a 'freeze' pose, as if you were in the middle of doing something e.g dancing or jumping.

I noticed a lot of the entrants were just stood still, posing normally, so I uploaded one dancing in silly glasses. 4 days later I got an email to say I had won!

I could choose a dress of my choice from their website up to the value of £60 plus I'd get a Lee Stafford hair styler worth £50!

The dress I chose came in handy for my birthday night out at the end of November.

i started comping last year with the advent comps, only entering a few a day. I had a few small wins like wine, t-shirts and chocolate, but then my year really did kick off. It started off with things like beauty products then the big ones came in....I won my car insurance paid for a whole year worth up to £700! Then a few days later I won a Delonghi coffee machine through Argos worth £499 (just turned up on my doorstep!) then a canon camera worth £100 (Avis giveaway), and a Sunsense suncare bundle worth £100! All in one month! That kept me going for the rest of the year and I have since won a £75 Red Letter Day voucher, electric toothbrush, plenty of Stella giveaway wins and even a can of Pringles!
I'm still yet to win any cash and that is next year's challenge but I'm so happy with what I have won in a year! Bring on 2014!

I've been entering competitions most evenings since my other half got his latest Call of Duty game and abandoned me for the XBox.
I've been thrilled to bits to have several wins over the last couple of weeks. I've won tickets to the Ideal Home Exhibition, theatre tickets, tickets to see Status Quo, an Asus Tablet and a dress, shoes, bag and necklace.
Now when we've tucked our boys in bed it's me asking him if he wants a quick game on the XBox so I can spend half an hour on ThePrizeFinder.com!

Wow - I found your site on Thursday 5th December and entered a few competitions. I didn't think I would win anything but got a phone call on Friday 6th December. I had won a £100 gift card from Ticketline - I am over the moon - I love going to gigs, events & festivals. I have recently been to see Jake Bugg & have just got back from the Clothes Show at the NEC yesterday. Needless to say - I have got my eye on a couple of gigs in the New Year.
