  • Wired Productions Competition Winner

    Posted by Higson

    Wednesday, September 6, 2017

Wired Productions recently released a game called Town of Light which takes places in the abandoned Volterra Asylum. I'm a huge fan of psychological horror and thrillers, as well as Urbexing, so when I first heard about this game back in 2015, I was very excited.
Then when the game came out, I entered to win this signed Artbook, as the art is part of the reason the game hits so hard. I was very happy when I won.
Between the poignant story and fact the developers have done so much to support mental health charities, I could not be more thrilled to own a part of this history of this.

  • What a Tasty Prize!

I joined Prizefinder in June when I was feeling deflated after our annual family holiday. One competition caught my eye - Durham Tasty Break being run by the This Is Durham website. One night at Dowfold House B&B, 3 course meal at Whitworth Hall and a hamper packed full of local tasty treats and drink was the prize up for grabs.
Imagine my surprise when 2 weeks later I received an email saying I'd won!
So, my husband and I have just returned from our Tasty Break and it was fantastic. We took the prize during my birthday and our 19th wedding anniversary and could not have spent our celebrations in more welcome and scenic surroundings.
Thank you Prizefinder, and thank you to all who put this prize together - Dowfold House, Whitworth Hall and This Is Durham

I love Prizefinder ... I have just passed my 4 year anniversary for using the site! What a great 4 years it has been I have had sooo many good wins!

I have just returned from the Maldives and Dubai that I won via a magazine and we had THE BEST TIME! Should have cost us £12k so was truly amazing :)

I have also won £500 worth of vouchers in a photo competition with Fiat which has brought me a brand new 50" TV which has been at the top of my wish list for ages.

I also won a first aid spray on Facebook, which actually came in handy as I had blisters on holiday and this really helped.. sometimes its the small wins that are great too!

The votes are still ongoing for the final.. not too sure what we are competing for but has been a great win and fingers crossed for the final!

Thanks Prizefinder for the lists and good luck everyone!

  • Summer Song

I decided to have a go at entering some of the social media competitions this month and was delighted to be notified by Pringles on Facebook saying I had won their Pringles Playlist competition.

To enter you needed to pick a song that would be on your summer playlist. I chose Sunglasses by Tracey Ullman and won a £100 Ticket Master voucher which I am going to use to buy my mum tickets to a musical for Christmas.

I also won £100 on Facebook for a selfie competition to celebrate #NationalToothFairyDay. This was a low entry competition with only around twenty entries.

Finally there was a small win of chocolate buttons from Cadburys on twitter.

It was well worth getting my head around social media, my next step is to get the hang of instagram, pinterest and snapchat to see what I can win next month.

    Happy comping.

I love to enter twitter competitions from prizefinder as they are so easy to enter, when i found one for some wrinkle cream, as im now 50 I thought i would enter to hide any that I have appearing plus the little gold tub appealed to me as it looks pretty.anyway i won it and shared my win with friends only to be told to google the price of this small tub of cream and found out that it costs £352....I was shocked as i would never pay this sort of price for any makeup or creams.Very pleased with this, now lets hope it works :)
