Meet Our Latest Winners!

So I started comping at the beginning of August after reading success stories and it's now my hobby :)
So far I havn't won anything to boast about apart from a happy eggs wildflower seeds packet and activity book. A win's a win and my girls enjoyed sowing the seeds and doing the crossword.

Well, last month was the big one - my biggest win since I started comping in June 2013, the trip to Las Vegas and I came home to a mountain of comps to catch up on and decided to up my game! Well, it's definitely paid off and I've so far won (with one day of September still to go...!) 68 prizes.

September has been my best month of 2014 so far, with 9 prizes in total!

I was lucky enough to win a bundle of ginger beer from Old Jamaica, some baby food, the entire range of Beyond Bronze tanning products from Fake Bake, a soap gift set from True Blue Lizard, a book, a bottle of whisky, an Ambuja skin care travel kit and a pair of tickets to the National Pet Show, where I took this photo. It was a great day out!

My biggest win this month was with createacraftybusiness.com where the amazing prize was a series of guides on setting up a craft business plus some one to one mentoring worth almost £200. This will be perfect for my mum who is retiring soon and looking to turn one of her hobbies into a business.

At 11.30am on Thursday morning, I received an email from the editor of Music-news. com informing me that I'd won tickets to see Nana Mouskouri at the Royal Albert Hall - for that evening! I called the telephone number he provided within the email to claim my prize. Having secured my tickets, my partner and I were off for what would be our first ever concert at the Albert Hall. It was a wonderful night. Nana was in fine form for a performer on the eve of her 80th birthday! Her daughter also performed with her. The 30 minute long singalong medley at the end was very special. A wonderful night!

I've won some nice baking goodies, a lovely bag and Christmas cards but the prize I've been trying for all Summer I finally won - a barbecue. Thanks to Nisa I now have a Landman and can grill to my hearts content. Thanks to all at ThePrizefinder for posting such great competitions!

This month I have been really lucky with two food wins. One was at the beginning of the month when I found out I was a runner-up for a prize in the Millie’s Cookies and Vampire Academy competition. This had me winning 12 Millie's Cookies of my choice. I chose lots of yummy double choc, brownies, and choc chip cookies with my voucher and those were devoured by myself and my family...yummy!

My second win of the month was a twitter Dairylea competition which had me winning a £20 love2shop voucher this also got spent very quickly!

Being a primary school teacher, I squeeze my competition entering into Saturday afternoons as there is no other time in the week. However, I really knuckled down in August and after a rather quiet period, I have managed to win an iPad Mini, a Merlin Annual Family Pass and a £7K holiday to Mozambique! Roll on half term!

I've been comping for years now and do upteen per day, as online competitions are my hobby and I spend hours per night entering.

This site is the best around and I usually do the closing soon because with some of the new competitions the deadlines are months ahead so I like the ending soon ones.

I've not won anything since July 2013 but I've kept on doing them anyway. Today I got a nice suprise through the post. I won a new talking furby so that's going towards my 4 year old christmas pot.

I haven't won any competitions at all for months despite entering loads every day. I was getting really demoralised. Then a couple of weeks ago I got an email, which I nearly deleted by mistake, informing me I'd won two places to the Masterchef pop up restaurant plus a £50 bar tab! The restaurant is there for five weeks only and features winners and runners up from the Masterchef series cooking special menus. Our menus were from the 2011 winner Tim plus runners up Sara and Tom. We got to watch them cooking, had a 6 course tasting menu and got to talk to some of the chefs and watch them cooking. We spent our £50 bar tab having champagne on the roof terrace with amazing views over London including the London Eye and Shard and then more wine with our fantastic meal. This was something I would never have bought and it just shows you never know when you are going to win and what experience you are going to get.
