I was away for most of the month during August, so only have 3 wins. My restaurant vouchers arrived from July so I've included a photo of them. I'm saving them for when I have my university friends to stay in a few weeks time.

My August wins included a £50 Joss and Main voucher which I've spent on a luxury bath mat for my new bathroom I bought from the vouchers in the Direct Blinds competition. Then I won some organic drinks from BerryWhite and a gift box of baby goodies from Shoreline of Cowes.

Just goes to show, when your entry numbers drop, the prize numbers do too! I'm still really pleased with these and can't wait for my bathroom to be finished and will be so proud to know I couldn't have done it without my wins. :)

I finally won a prize!
After comping for a long, long time I had three wins in the space of a month! I was so excited.

I first won a pair of nike trainers! They're gorgeous! I'm still not 100% sure where they came from but they're gorgeous none the less.

The second win was a DVD which I was thrilled with, again unsure where it came from as it was delivered with no information nor email.

The third was from horse&rider. I have won a pair of tickets to a horse event, £100 voucher for horse riding equipment and an autographed saddle pad!
I am thrilled!

Only yesterday I was considering giving up as after months of entering competitions, I'd won nothing. I don't always enter smaller prize competitions due to time constraints so this might be why! However, I came home today to a parcel containing a win from Cine-Vue for season 4 of Boardwalk Empire on DVD! I love this show so really pleased, and thanks to Cine-Vue! Perservere, and it will happen!

After a long dry spell I have had a few small wins in quick succession. A couple of £50 JD sports vouchers. I am buying new trainers with these.
I also received two lots of tickets for Luna cinema at Lulworth Castle. We almost did not go due to weather but we thought it a shame to waste the premium tickets with directors chairs for the performance, free drinks, popcorn and Benefit goody bags. We had a great evening on a balmy but wet night watching Breakfast at Tiffany's in a magical setting last night!

People always have places they dream of visiting and one of mine was Paris!
So when I saw a chance to win a trip there and it was a photo competition I thought why not give it a go!
The competition was with Absolute Radio & Three mobile and involved submitting a photo of holiday spam. I sent in one of my favourite photos from my honeymoon of a cocktail with the backdrop of the Indian Ocean.
A week after I'd forgotten all about it when I received an email saying the radio wanted to contact me.
Absolute radio contacted me and told me I'd been short listed to go on air and would I be willing? .....omg!!!!
So on the Monday morning the producer rang and briefed me. This is when I found out I would be head to head with one other person and if I won I'd get the trip! ...I was shaking and so nervous!
The time came and I was on air...I had to answer three questions and they suddenly told me 'about cocktails' ....I thought oh no I will never win!
Anyway I guessed my answers and got 2 out of the 3.
The other contestant did not manage to get any right and suddenly they are telling me I've won!!!!!! :0
So three weeks later I have my winning letter and am still in shock!
The Prize also included an iPhone5c and two pairs of Raybans!!!
A real dream come true!

Well, what can I say? I have had another cracking month. I received £300 Laura Ashley vouchers (2 x £150) and a pack of Tena products which I would have to say arrived very quickly indeed through Goodtoknow. I was told about it on 18th Aug and it arrived 5 days later, how’s that for speedy delivery. Including the above prize I have won 21 prizes altogether in August – so far. I have been really lucky on the Happy Eggs site with 10 wins – I have received 5 of them so far (2 X pack of seeds + 3 x Activity books). I couldn’t believe winning two lots of Biscuiteers Spotty Dotties (a couple of days apart) and will send a photo of them both when they arrive. Five books from Mumsnet (1), Gransnet (1) & Goodreads (3). An Aldi food and drink hamper worth £50 – again I have had the £30 vouchers so far but not the products yet. And also a ‘Kettle and Toaster’ prize, again I am waiting for this one. Finally received through the post (no email) was a Nude Audio M (Portable bluetooth speaker & speakerphone) from Capital fm. Like I said, what a cracking month!!!

I entered a recipe for a cake I had created to the Homepride 50 favourite recipes competition after spotting it on ThePrizeFinder. It was to celebrate their 50th birthday. Much to my amazement I won! Not only do I get to see my photo of the cakes and my recipe in the Homepride 50th birthday cookery book, I also got £150 to spend at an online cake decorating store Cake Craft World. This is a photo of the goodies that I spent it on.

Well, I've finally gone and done it.
After comping since June of 2013 and winning well over £30K in prizes in that short 14 month span, I have won a 5 night trip to Las Vegas including flights, transfers, spending money, tickets to see Britney Spears AND a meet & greet with Britney. I'm so excited, we leave on Thursday and this is one of the biggest thrills I've ever been given. I'm so happy! :D Comping has changed my life :)

I started getting into comps thanks to a friend of mine who enters (and wins) a lot of them. I spend about 30 mins to an hour every morning entering and usually enter between around 50-200 a day. In the last month I have won a few smaller prizes like books, aftershave, food vouchers and dolls but I have also won 2 bigger prizes. My wife, 4 kids and I enjoyed a free family weekend to Sports fest thanks to Debbie and Andrews which was worth over £400! Then last week I recieved 10 early ride tickets to Alton towers thanks to Goodfellas again worth over £400! None of my family had ever been to Alton towers before so it was an awesome experience. I now LOVE comping and ThePrizeFinder makes it so easy to eneter the comps. I would recommend it if you have a spare 30 mins a day! Thanks for the great site!
