After entering many competitions to try and win tickets to the Women's Rugby World Cup Final September 2025, I was eventually successful with Tesco Text To win and Wilkinson's Sword by winning 2 tickets to the 3rd Place Play off and Final on 27th September 25. The 2 seats at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham were positioned just behind the media on the halfway line, a fantastic view and atmosphere. What's more £750 cash was also part of this great prize! I took my Father in law and we had a great day witnessing and enjoying a piece of sporting history.

Since rejoining X (formerly Twitter), I had entered a few comps but, over a few months, had won only two books, one of which never turned up.
That all changed nearer Christmas when Booths supermarket selected me as their Win it Wednesday competition winner - with the ideal prize for me, a selection of Lindt chocolates!
A big cardboard box duly turned up in December and we had a great time in this house; we are all chocolate lovers and Lindt is our very favourite brand!
You really can taste that it’s good quality stuff.
The box contained a large chocolate Santa, a large Lindt teddy bear, 2 medium sized Lindt bears, one of which was white chocolate , a row of 5 little chocolate Santas and some random Lindt chocolates in different coloured wrappers. We got some pistachio (green ones) and would have preferred strawberry (pink ones) amongst others but this was a minor detail.
As the large chocolate Santa looked as though he had been punched in the throat on his way to my house, we decided the best thing to do was open him up and start eating him before he fell to bits anyway! This plan lasted a few days til he was all gone.
I was so lucky that Santa came early to my house and gave us such a tasty lead up to Christmas!

Receiving thousands of entries each day, I didn’t think the magazine dailies were worth entering. As an experiment I decided to enter each day for a set period of time of three months. Imagine my surprise and delight when I received a winning email for a Baileys treats hamper from Woman’s Own magazine. My lovely prize arrived just in time for Christmas which allowed me to share it with my family. This included a bottle of Baileys, sweet treats, cream, chocolates, biscuits and was a lovely surprise. Our favourite was the Baileys meringue which we served with ice cream on Christmas Day.The squirty cream was claimed by our granddaughter who had spotted this in our local store! My advice would be, if you have the time, enter daily as there are some lovely prizes to be won.

I won a professional dog photo shoot competition from High Life Magazine as shown in The Prizefinder. Betty, our black Poochon- poodle and Bichon frise cross - & I travelled to Newcastle for her photos taking. Betty was impeccably behaved. We spent a couple of hours discovering the beautiful city of Newcastle whilst Darren Irwin, the photographer, edited & then presented me with a choice of images to select our favourite. There were several fabulous photographs so choosing was difficult. The picture was delivered within a week & now takes pride of place in our home

With perfect timing the postie has just delivered another craft win.
It is an Aquabeads set of train your dragon. My niece will be receiving this set as an addition to her Christmas present.
She really enjoyed the Hama beads that were in last months crafting box. After last months win I went throught the kids and craft lists on here and entered lots. Was still surprised when the win turned up .
Another win this month was a £20 Amazon gift voucher. I will save that for a birthday present for someone.

Every year I try to win a Christmas Jumper. Some years I have won multiple ones. Last year my husband particularly liked the Guinness one I won. I would have liked to have won the Gold Guinness jumper this year but instead I won this Fray Bentos one.
The quality is really good but as it’s too big for me my husband will have the pleasure of wearing it. A lovely bonus was the tin can opener and the turkey pie. I love these pies but sometimes I find the cans tricky to open.
I have been entering the Allotment Online competitions and I won an ‘Orchid Myst Repotting Kit’. I love orchids and currently I have one that needs repotting so this will be really useful.
On the Coca Cola app I won some socks to go with the Christmas bauble I won last month.
I am still entering the advents so I am really hoping I may yet win another one.

I entered one of those like, share, comment, and follow giveaways on Instagram, the kind you normally scroll past without giving much thought. This one was run by a company called Zilch, and the prize was a brand-new Samsung Galaxy Fold 7. At the time, it seemed almost too good to be true — after all, who really wins these things? But it cost nothing to take part, so I followed the steps, tapped “like,” added a comment, hit “share,” followed their page, and then carried on with my day. Honestly, I completely forgot about it within an hour.

Fast forward a while later, and I suddenly received a message notification on Instagram. I assumed it would be a random DM or some meme from a friend, but when I opened it, I saw it was from Zilch’s official Instagram account. My first thought was that it had to be one of those scam accounts pretending to be the real thing. But when I checked the username, verified badge, and follower count, it was definitely legitimate. They told me I had actually won one of their Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 phones and asked me to email them so they could proceed with the next steps.

I just sat there for a moment, staring at the message, trying to decide if it was real. I even looked back at the original giveaway post to make sure I hadn’t imagined entering it. Sure enough, there it was — Zilch were giving away not one, but three Fold 7s. Considering how expensive these phones are, giving away three of them is pretty wild. Still, even though the account looked genuine, I was cautious. I double-checked links, made sure the email address matched the one on their website, and only then did I send over my contact details, name, and delivery address.

Once they'd confirmed everything, they told me the phone would be dispatched soon. A week later, a delivery driver knocked on the door with a package that felt suspiciously heavy and premium. I opened it up and there it was: a Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 — and not just the base model. They’d sent the 512GB version in blue, which, in my opinion, is the best colour for the phone. I honestly just stood there for a few seconds trying to take it in. You never expect to actually win something like this, let alone something that costs more than some second-hand cars.

This prize is ideal for after school crafting with the grandchildren.Perfect for those rainy nights when you want to keep them away from the TV for just a little bit longer.
Very varied contents including hamas beads sets, googly eyes and lots of colourful other crafty things.
Now I am going to browse through the craft listings to see if I can win anything else . Especially indoor entertainment at this time of year.

A quiet month for me but three prizes so far. A Celebrations non numbered advent which my husband attacked as soon as it arrived. Although no numbers I have still limited him to one a day!
I have a box of Lily O’Brien chocolates coming. I have been entering daily.
On the Coca Cola app I have won their Christmas Baubles. I just wonder if they will arrive intact. Not sure if it’s one bauble or more?
I am going to start using PrizeFinder to help me enter as many advents as possible. I usually find the numbers of advents overwhelming but hope that this time I will find the ones I like and just stick to them.

This month I was excited to win an amazing box of Halloween goodies from Poundstretcher on Instagram. It’s a really generous prize, with lots of decorations, stickers, toys and mugs, and accessories for Halloween outfits. My 11 year old daughter was very excited when it arrived! I found out that I had won by accident because Poundstretcher started following me on Instagram which I thought was strange as I had no message from them. It was only when I looked back at their posts that I noticed a winning message hidden under my comment on their giveaway post. So I was very lucky to find it!
