I've been entering competitions on and off for over 20 years. Last year I unfortunately had to take some time off work due to illness.
But the positive was, after taking a break from comping, I suddenly had time on my hands - and I came back to prizefinder (which has always been my go to comp listings site). Not being well I made sure when entering to look for vouchers with long dates I would be able to use when I recovered. I was so pleased with all the spa breaks I found listed. and was even more excited to win!
I entered a competition on instagram from the Lowry hotel in Manchester which was a simple like and comment, and out of over 1000 entrants I was picked as the lucky winner. I had the VIP treatment, with a fantastic river view room, meals, drinks, treatments - I even tried out cryotherapy which is something I wouldnt have done. I was also able to take my partner who has been working very hard lately, so it was great to be able to treat him to some r and r time too. What a fantastic hobby we have!
