I've been using Prizefinder.co.uk for the last few years as the content and layout are fab! I'm still not come down from the biggest win to date... A 10k wedding at Ashton Lodge from Free Radio! We got married in May and it was truly amazing and more than we could ever wish for!

Sometimes it is the little wins that keep you going,. Comping can be very frustrating at times and you sometimes wonder why you do it when nothing happens, then out of the blue a little win comes along and makes your day, for me it was a simple water bottle, just for a comment on the Saga Facebook page, not big I know but just enough to spur me on, and who knows the 1st September just might be my winning month.

I have had a great month for winning food and drinks! Perhaps it's the nesting instinct due to pregnancy?!
I got a surprise email from a Wimbledon facebook Moonpig competition with a prize of 2 bottles of champagne (clearly I'll be saving these) and 2 official Wimbledon towels (which my son was obsessed with carrying around his neck). The original winner never got back to them so I was drawn second. I then won a box of cupboard food and drink like coffee, pesto, wine and sparking juices from a daily giveaway on social media. Following this I won 12 bottles of aloe juice and 12 tubs of hartleys jelly in Twitter/Instragram comps involving something a little more than a RT or regram.

I have definitely not ever won as much good or drink in a single month!

This month I've been looking at the creative competitions on prize finder and those which I could involve my toddler in, many of these close soon so hopefully I can report some success with these next month.

August has ticked along nicely with a total of 2 craft kits from different Twitter competitions, a baking book (again from Twitter, but yet to be received) and then from Facebook a selection of oatcakes and biscuits. I always appreciate food prizes as it's usually something you wouldn't normally get for yourself - I can recommend the shortbread with ginger! I'm still hoping for a big prize, but the little ones are always welcome.

Just come back from the south west four and I am off to the London colour run in London next Sunday thanks to skittles whoop whoop I don't think there will be any running more like a light saunter lol

I just love entering comps I have done so many things that I would not have other wise had done

Had a awsome time today after a slow month I checked my email and discovered I had won two tickets to a dance festival.

Well wellies on short shorts on and off me and my mate go we partied hard drank eat and made merry we had a ball the tickets were both work over £60 so very lucky indeed.

August has been good so far and as we were going away at the back end I knew I had to be careful with closing dates as I wouldn't be at home. So in July I packed in as many comps as I could and it paid off. I won tickets to the cricket courtesy of Hardy's wine, one where they were for set dates and venues at the test match (definitely checked the t&c's on this one!) it was a glorious day in London and we had such a lovely time sneaking in a night away too! Then I won a small chest freezer from Euronics on Twitter, which I been wanting for my fruit and veg from the garden, happy days! Currently having a couple of weeks off on holiday (well almost - still keeping an eye open for new comps!)

Had a really great month with competitions, in contrast to last month where I didn't win anything! Started the month with a family ticket to see The Gruffalo at Lyric theatre. This was a really great show and I never would have had the spare money to go tame my son to see it, so I was really chuffed. I then won a smoothie cup and a finding dory toy(put the toy away for my son's birthday in 2 weeks). I then won some ladybird books for my son. I tend to enter more competitions for toys/books/DVDs/outings for my son so hoping to soon win some more to put away for Christmas for him.

ive had to take another little break as its the school holidays and ive packed it for days out so when I have some spare time im entering for more days out for the family so we can enjoy more of the summer and to my delight I had a envelope come through with express and star on it, I knew it was a win of some sort but didn't remember entering so I was pleased what there was 3 days worth of family tickets to Silverstone classic event worth over £300 saldy tho there wasn't accomendation and I couldn't afford to tent there as that was over £150 alone so we decided to give my family members fri and sundays tickets but we went on the saterday and it was amazing - ive never been before and would never have paid for tickets before but this has opened my eyes to going again and also the fair was FREE :) and they gave so many goodies out courtersy of jet we had hats bags and torches - my kids also love watching the classic cars and evan some grand prix thrown in there :)

It was a simple comment on a Facebook post from BeBoxMusic and 24 hours later I'm the proud winner of a GoPro Hero3+ Camera complete with a Head Strap and a Silicone camera cover and 2 packs of MAOAM Pinballs all of which were delivered within the week. My best win so far of 2016, whoop, whoop. Thank you for listing the competition Prize Finder.
