I was delighted to receive the news that I'd won the top prize with the President Cheese card-matching game: a trip to Paris for two.
It was such a surprise as I was only hoping for a tea towel. I’d entered more or less every day for as long as it was running. And it ran for quite a long time. Months.
But someone told me that no matter how many times you entered you only got one entry to the Grand Draw, so I feel even more lucky.
It’s always so special to win a holiday. I can’t wait to visit the museum, and linger over a glass of wine and a plate of cheese. It’s been a while since I hopped over the Channel. And I don’t have to worry about a thing: it's all being organised for me, and I can't wait to take a stroll along the Seine in Springtime.
