Since rejoining X (formerly Twitter), I had entered a few comps but, over a few months, had won only two books, one of which never turned up.
That all changed nearer Christmas when Booths supermarket selected me as their Win it Wednesday competition winner - with the ideal prize for me, a selection of Lindt chocolates!
A big cardboard box duly turned up in December and we had a great time in this house; we are all chocolate lovers and Lindt is our very favourite brand!
You really can taste that it’s good quality stuff.
The box contained a large chocolate Santa, a large Lindt teddy bear, 2 medium sized Lindt bears, one of which was white chocolate , a row of 5 little chocolate Santas and some random Lindt chocolates in different coloured wrappers. We got some pistachio (green ones) and would have preferred strawberry (pink ones) amongst others but this was a minor detail.
As the large chocolate Santa looked as though he had been punched in the throat on his way to my house, we decided the best thing to do was open him up and start eating him before he fell to bits anyway! This plan lasted a few days til he was all gone.
I was so lucky that Santa came early to my house and gave us such a tasty lead up to Christmas!
