Meet Our Latest Winners!

Thanks to Prize finder I was lucky enough to win a prize a month. Some smaller prizes, such as biscuits or gift cards, but my favourite prize was this bundle from Currys! It also included a hoverboard and E-Scooter which I was buzzing about! I enter the competition 3 minutes before it closed, I couldn't believe my luck.

I also won a £150 giftcard to a shoe shop which was a huge help as I had just changed job and needed some new work shoes. Comping is a part of my daily routine now and I can't wait to continue my streak.

My favourite competitions are for foreign holidays and short breaks in the UK and I enter as many as possible!
I also love food so when I saw this great comp on Instagram combining both I knew I had to enter.
The prize is a 3 night stay at Mazzard Farm near Sidmouth in Devon with a selection of pies from Chunk of Devon AND a pie crimping experience. It is for 4 people so I’m taking one of my besties and her partner too. My mouth was watering as I looked on their website and saw the most delicious looking pies. Not sure I’ll be good at crimping pies BUT I shall be very good at eating them!
It is National Pie Week next week so I will get in some practice in.

I have entered competitions sporadically over the years without much success. In fact, the only thing I have ever been able to get my hands on was a free MOT in a raffle when I was too young to drive.

I’ve started entering more often and recently won my first prize, a Teflon Crepe Pan! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as while this wasn’t the most exciting news for friends and family, I was delighted! I often make pancakes at the weekend but these can be hit and miss using our old pans, now they’re perfect (photo for the final result)!

I won such a unique prize this month! I had seen here on Prize Finder the competition listings for Beano’s giveaway on social media. They have partnered with Radley to create a limited run of Minnie The Minx inspired Radley bags, and it was a simple comment and tag style entry on their social media giveaway posts. I entered on Twitter the night before the competition closed, and was stunned to receive a winners notification the next day. I thought perhaps I would receive one bag, but in actual fact received the whole collection of 2 handbags and a wallet, which are worth around £750 in total. I’ve always loved Radley bags, and the Beano, so this is a perfect prize! I have them on a display shelf at the moment, they look great!

2024 has been quite quiet on the prize front for me so have been trying to enter different competitions to my usual ones. I have entered more on Instagram and it seems to be paying off. I won a Valenines competition for a meal in a local burger restaurant. I messaged them and asked if it was okay to bring my daughter as my partner was working and they said absolutely! It was a lovely half term treat for us and we will now definitely go back there as they have the best milkshakes ever accordingto my daughter! Good luck for March everone!

One morning an email came through congratulating me on my win - the prize being a 14 night fly/cruise to the Caribbean on the new P & O ship Arvia. Of course, my first reaction was that this email was a scam. However, after speaking to a very helpful lady at P & O she confirmed to me that I had actually won! There were 10 winners in this competition and my entry was one that was picked. My husband and I had a brilliant time visiting the various islands and so enjoyed the fabulously warm climate. Most definitely a holiday we’ll both remember!

This lovely cross stitching kit arrived this week.
It is something that I have not done for many years. An ideal prize for this time of year as I can sit by the fire and refresh my sewing skills,
Sometimes entering a few competitions on Prizefinder can make you try something new. I probably would not have gone out and bought this prize. But if I enjoy doing it I may buy another kit.
Creative pastimes get me away from the keyboard for a change.
But I will be back to Prizefinder listings to see what else I could win soon.

2023 was pretty barren competition wise. My main win was £100 voucher for Woolworths which we used to buy a new quilt.
Luckily for me I’ve just won my 3rd prize of this year - a cross stitch bundle from World of Stitching magazine and a jute Santa sack.
I recently won two nights at Wookey Hole Hotel with Good Housekeeping magazine,together with free tickets to the Wookey Hole tour. We’ve booked to go in April.
A few days later I won £50 with SoGlos which has come in very handy straight after Christmas.

I decided to try out comping this year as a sort of hobby/ experiment that I could do from home in bed (I’m not well). I wanted to see if I could actually win much in one year of entering competitions and ThePrizeFinder was one of my first stops.

I entered a giveaway for a Ring Doorbell with one free ticket and decided not to buy any extra because the whole point for me is to do this with free entries only. A week later I got a phonecall that I had won and two days later a shiny new Ring doorbell and chime arrived on my step! I’m chuffed and am definitely excited to see what this year brings!
