Meet Our Latest Winners!

Winning an iPad mini a year ago, in the advent comps had filled me with optimism for my comping year ahead in 2016. I was sure that all my efforts would deliver great prizes, but month by month passed and I had nothing to show for it, not another win all year...nothing, nada, zilch!! Motivation was so low that by November, my comp entries had reduced significantly as my enthusiasm waned. Then suddenly 2 wins within a few weeks, albeit small wins of a Guinness rugby ball and a set of Sharpie pens, but it was just the boost I needed. I attacked the advent competitions with more gusto than I can remember in a long time and although I haven’t won (as yet) any big prizes, I did win a cookery book from Bespoke Hotels (I love their advent comp) and some body wash and lotion from the Green People. Those wins have helped me on ‘my road to comping recovery’ and my enthusiasm for the coming year has once more returned. Thank Goodness!

The past month or two has been a definite dry spell, which we all have. It's so easy to lose heart and enter fewer. However, I've had a few wins which have been surprises, a £25 John Lewis gift voucher from Twitter and a mystery Shopkins set - I have no idea where it even came from! I love getting a prize through the post that I wasn't expecting, they don't happen very often. The last prize this month was a DVD For my son in a blog competition.

I've been thinking about what I'd like to win in 2017 and hope I can keep up at least a few wins into the new year so I'll have something to report here in January too!

Sometimes it's the competitions that we don't put much effort into can bring us the biggest surprise.
A few weeks ago I noticed a promotion on the Omorovicza Skincare Facebook page. I've heard so many good things about their products but it's always out of my price range.
The promo was centered around best beauty sleep and evening skincare routine, so I've uploaded a photo of me, wearing a mask and wrote a lengthy explanation, then quickly forgot about it. Then 10 days ago I received an e-mail from the London HQ that I was the winner of this competition and will be receiving 5 of their 5 products, worth over £500. I was absolutely chuffed and really happy that I've taken the time to enter it!

After a very slow October and November with hardly any wins I had a few nice prizes this month-

My best prize this year has to be the all-inclusive holiday to The Moon Palace Grande Hotel in Jamaica, where New Housewives of Atlanta was filmed. I was in a superior deluxe room with a sea view right opposite Mick Jagger's Jamaican pad!
I got to visit Bob Marley's house, where I sat on his bed,
climbed up Dunnes River Falls in a bikini
Enjoyed free rum tasting at Appleton's Distillery with a tour
Sailed a boat along the Black River
Lazed on a private beach with waiter service!
This was truly an out of this world experience!

After a long time without reliable internet it was wonderful to finally be back online and able to delve into the Christmas comps! I even won 3 comps in one day!

I won (as pictured) this sheild grouting and cleaning bundle, An advent win of a big hair curling brush, A gentlemans tool kit, a set of four handmade glass coasters and a £30 box of lily o brien chocs and a star trek DVD!

It really helped make Christmas a bit more special as I was able to gift most of these!

I will continue comping in the new year and can't wait to see what I win next!

Im a huge X Factor fan and watch it religiously when its on and any comp for tickets i have to enter

I did just this and was lucky enough to win the VIP TRIP

this meant tickets to the final £500 cash, £400 towards travel, a hotel and VIP meet and greet

This was my best win of the year and goes to show that going out of your way and doing something extra ( as in buy a product? can help you win some fab prizes

Had a really good December winning tickets to a Fantastic Beasts event, a box of jellybeans, snowman products, a huge box of soap and glory products, mamma mia products and just this morning a £100 voucher to spend at a baby retailer. I am expecting another niece/nephew is 2017 so chuffed I can buy some decent baby products for my brother. It ends a really great year of over £1000 of prizes. Pretty good since I started in June. Hope to top the amount in 2017!

I did not have a lot of time to enter many competitions in December but was thrilled with the wins I had! The most fun prize was a Chewbacca mask - oh my what a laugh we had and I was able to spread the joy by giving it as a gift to my nephew!
I also won a lovely treat of Afternoon tea and a signed book by Julian fellows - I also won an afternoon Jazz cruise on The Thames! December was a great month for prizes that I can enjoy with a friend = perfect !
