I have recently had a bit of luck after a dry spell!

I try to enter local comps as I know I can attend local events or meal out etc and there are less entrants - it really pays off!

I have won a £50 voucher for a local hairdresser and she has gained a new client due to her amazing skills so win win for us! Also a 5 course meal (pictured) and a carvary for four!

Had a dry spell for around 4 months now, not winning a thing :-( BUT yesterday I gave the DFDS spin to win a whirl and first spin wins me a mini-cruise to Amsterdam... though it is form Newcastle, which is quite a way! But hey... a win is a win and it made my day! Hope is restored x

I won an overnight stay with holiday inn to have dinner, an over night stay in their Bradford hotel and free breakfast in the morning, after having my daughter I've not managed to have any me time so this is a perfect opportunity to get away and have a little mini break, very excited!

Early in October I won my first Facebook win with Mr Kipling cakes and an elephant glove puppet. Since then I have received a DVD of Arrow with nothing enclosed to show its origin and I entered a Real People competition using a Lucky Dip button to select numbers and received a congratulations screen afterwards, my first win on this type of entry.
I was surprised to find I had to phone during office hours to confirm and give my details to receive the prize however. On phoning the response was not that speedy and I was surprised to be told at the end of the conversation that it would take 6-9 weeks for the prize to arrive. Had thought the item would make a great gift but not holding my breath it arrives before Christmas. Anyway,delighted to have won a prize and to find that this type of comp does have winners.

I was lucky enough to win a £100 Amazon Gift Voucher in a free prize draw run by The Wise Society online! I was so delighted with this, particularly as it is my son's 23rd birthday next month, so I bet you know what we spent it on! I love Amazon and its so much fun to search for and buy nice things for loved ones and not have to spend any real money! Thank you Prizefinder for your great encouragement and help winning! As I won this online, I have no picture of it, but instead, here is a picture of my happy face when I won it!! (and no, it didn't break my camera!)

This month I've won a fab prize from a listing I entered in the prizefinder on the 30th of September 'closing soon' and it paid off with an email from BBC gardners world saying I'd won a massive kids playhouse worth £1200!! We have just moved so this will be amazing in our garden.
I've won smaller bits like kids snacks from IG and a £25 voucher from a Twitter party. The question is do I treat myself or put it towards families Christmas presents?!

I haven't been comping for long (a couple of months) and this month I have won tickets to the boxing in Liverpool, the opportunity to get an engagement ring designed, a microscope, some Denver speakers and a £10 Amazon voucher. Feeling so lucky! Have to thank the prize finder as they are my go to every month!!

I recently won a box of loads of different teas which was great. I remember entering the competition through the prize finder but didn't think I'd won because I hadn't heard anything until the postman showed up which was great! PS the tea tastes great. I drink a lot and there are a load of different types.

Every now and again, I'll find a competition listed on here that it seems like fate to win, which is exactly what happened a couple of weeks ago when I saw the chance of winning a tennis masterclass with Heather Watson at the National Tennis Centre through Tennishead magazine. It's 10 minutes down the road from me, I knew I was free on the day in question and I was a keen player up until my early 20s, so I was almost expecting the email that I received 24 hours after submitting my details.

My brother came along with me, and after being kitted out from top to toe (thanks Pro Direct & New Balance!) we had a 45 minute volleying session with England's number 2 ranked player (and Wimbledon mixed doubles champion), carrying out a number of drills to help us improve our game (and having not played for a few years, it was in definite need of improvement!).

Heather was absolutely lovely, offering lots of advice and encouragement throughout the day and being altogether very generous with her time. I’ve long watched the professionals and debated how well I’d fare rallying with them, and it’s amazing to think I don’t have to wonder anymore - all thanks to The Prizefinder!

I’ve been comping for a number of years, winning some amazing memories in that time, and this is definitely another one to add to the list. Next stop? Andy Murray...

I hadn't had a win in months so was delighted when I received notification through Facebook to let me know I'd won a pair of Tatty Teddies thanks to a giveaway from Matalan.

They arrived today and will make super Christmas presents for my Mum and Mum-in-Law! The bears are holding gift boxes which will be perfect for including some jewelry or another little present. I just need to win something to go in them now :-)

I wonder if I can win all my Christmas shopping?! That would be grand!!!
