Meet Our Latest Winners!

I had a few nice wins in September - a 'back to school' bundle of books from Harper Collins worth £100, flower clips from a blog on Tumblr, an anime DVD from Neo Magazine, and some books from Goodreads. Even the dog got in on the act with a packet of treat bones from Webbox.

I also tried running a blog competition of my own for the first time. It was good fun and hopefully it will be the first of many!

i had a phone call from Channel 4 to say I had won there Film 4’s SummerScreen season to watch the UK premiere of Me and Earl and the Dying GIrl , it also included a night at the savoy, would I still like the prize....... YES.
We got to the Savoy and were told we had been upgraded to a Suite, my jaw hit the floor. We got taken up to our suite, it over looked the London eye, it was bigger than my house. Didn't go to the film as it was an outdoor screening and it was raining, but went to a show instead.

I've had a great few months winning a £250 notonthehighstreet.com voucher, a hot air balloon ride for 2, a full taste card membership and my favourite of all...a giant stuffed dulux dog! I entered a competition to win paint and won the dog as a runner up prize but I think I prefer him!

Back in June I won an amazing holiday from the Lonely Planet website. The winning email said:

I've had a look at all three hotels & they are unbelievable!!! They are all way out of our usual price range (holiday inn usually!!!) so this will be a real treat! We are going next June so we have a chance of seeing whales & bears, and luckily my mum has agreed to stay at our house to look after the kids while we have a couples break!

I love winning hampers, especially foodie hampers, but it's very rare that I manage to score one. This month I've been especially lucky, because I've won a big organic hamper from the Soil Association, chocolates from Guylian, a posh hamper from London and a surprise box of Jordan's granola has also turned up from their monthly draw. I've decided to make Christmas hampers for my family and now I will be able to fill them with delicious goodies.

We love dining out but, with a young family, cannot do it often enough. So we were more than pleased to win a "taste card" membership that gives two for one dining experiences in iver 7000 restaurants. My other win was for the digitally restored war film DVD Angels one five. As six of my great uncles were killed at Dunkirk the history of World War 2 has always been of interest, only one family lost more members in the battle; they got mentioned in dispatches, no one bothered with who came second. Needless to say I am a pacifist, I am not going to die for their important cause.

I haven't won anything for ages despite doing a lot of competitions on a daily basis and was feeling really demoralized. I have won one small prize in the last year only. I was on holiday last week and checked my emails when I got a wifi connection. I couldn't believe it when I saw an email saying id won a Daily Express competition of a beauty box featuring Clarins products. There were 150 prizes in total but even so they must have had 1000s of entries. I love Clarins products and checked online. The prize comes to about £80. I know its a relatively small win compared to the holidays etc but its a great boost and I wouldn't spend that much on a couple of face creams myself! The prize included a full size serum and a day and night face cream. It was even nicer to get an email when I was on holiday saying id won!

I started comping a couple of years ago, first of all started on facebook then Twitter. Then I came across the priz finder and started doing more than ever. This year I have had 27 wins alone, mostly from THePrizeFinder listings. The site is so orangised I can enter ones closing soon ( how I do it) and search for the things I would like to win. I entered Red shot Sunglasses comp to win a hamper and raybans and out of almost 6000 entries I won I was over the moon

My first competition entry resulted in this happy little win !!! 2 big packs of protein bites that came in very handy in my new hobby as an Ariel artist ! I love taking them to class to snack on in between routines they've helped me eat more healthy and I feel great from them !!! Thanks prize finder for introducing me to another new hobby !

Well what can I say after about a month and a half of comping I am totally addicted as my first prize was two return flights and £500 to new York thanks to heart, Liverpool John Lennon airport and aer lingus! Then I won a box of mint crisp chocolates from Elisabeth shaw. Third prize was runner up I got a family ticket free entry to eltham palace, a family ticket free entry to apsley house thanks to magic fm and English heritage. Last but not least today I won two tickets to see darcey oake live magic show at eventim apollo thanks to London calling. I am over the moon with all my wins my friends and family can't believe it. Fingers crossed as to what else I can win.
