Meet Our Latest Winners!

So I think April was the last time that I won anything! It's been difficult to keep the motivation to carry on. I recently entered the USC competition to win a pair of KSwiss shoes. I've been needing new shoes for a long time, and have been unable to afford new ones myself, they came at the right time.

I'm hopeful for the future, hoping I'll win a few more things in the advent competitions. Good Luck to you all :)

I have entering competitions since the begining of the year and not had much luck. I recieved in the post today a Pro Plan Cat Blanket, which I didn't even know I had won.
I was well chuffed! Well my cats won't get much use out of it as it is going in the car so my dog can sleep on it when we go for our trips.

I may just keep entering now as little surprises like that make my day.

This month has been completely crazy! I've spent almost 2 years entering competitions almost every day trying to win a holiday. It had never happened until last Monday when I won 3 holidays... In one day!

Firstly, I was selected as a finalist in the Damart 'Art of Feeling Good' competition, for writing about my recent biodiversity research expedition to Indonesia with my students. The 5 finalists had to campaign for Facebook likes (which I hate doing) and I came second. The difference between prizes for first and second place was minor. I won a 3 night break at Nidd Hall, North Yorkshire for two people full board with full use of the spa facilities and entertainment. My friend and I are going for a Christmas shopping break! Also included was a choice of activity for another weekend. I chose an intensive cookery masterclass with celebrity chef Jean Christophe Novelli. This includes a stay in 5* London hotel for the weekend whilst I'm there. I also won some vouchers to spend in their online store.

Less than 20 minutes later, still buzzing from my first win, I received a WEM saying I'd won a weeks ski holiday for 4 in the French Alps with ski club of GB! I absolutely could not believe my luck. It includes chalet accommodation and ski passes, worth almost £2,000. I can't wait to go with friends and learn to ski, which has been on my bucket list.

Throughout the month I also won £50 to spend on cosmetics at saveonmakeup.co.uk (awesome site you should all check it out, really good discounts) and I've included a photo of the goodies I chose. I also won a double page advert in a magazine, which I used to help out my friend's business, a professional post Christmas oven clean to save me doing my most hated household chore, a case of rice crispie squares, pair of tickets to London dungeon and a pair of smart wool socks.

I think it's safe to say this has been my best month of wins ever, with prizes worth over £3,500. Good luck in the advents next month everyone!

I won an iPad with Laimon Fresh in October - I was stunned. An iPad has been on my wish list for a few years, I wanted one to enhance my daughter's education.
I submitted an autumn theme photo to them in a collage style - and we won! I am ridiculously over the moon about it. Truly grateful too, she's really super clever and I know the iPad will accelerate her learning more than I could ever help her with.

I have been panicking as I am nowhere near ready for Christmas, although thanks to The Prizefinder I'm a little more prepared now!This month I won a 'my first balance bike' from netmums, a lovely little present for my nephew. A bottle of B Balenciaga 50ml from The Perfume Shop Twitter comp, the perfect gift for my mother. I also won a couple of relaxation CDs which will be a nice little gift for....ummm....me! I have been comping for a few years now and have been lucky enough to win all sorts of amazing prizes....all thanks to Prizefinder! however I was beginning to think my luck was fading after having quite a long drought on prizes! However, quite recently I was delighted to get a knock on the door to be greeted with a huge box full of Ellas kitchen goodies including pouches and two cookbooks - perfect for our baby daughter Lola! My faith in competitions has been newly restored and I'm back entering with a vengeance!

I've had small wins - a pack of almonds! And bigger ones - flights to Athens! But they have all been wins all from entering online an hour or so a day. I love winning things that I wouldn't normally treat myself to (or even think to get). Recently I won a competition for a skeleton bones morphsuit. I have seen morphuits before and they look great but they cost soo much I would never have thought to get one. I couldn't resist the urge to try it on when it came! Its soo quick and easy to put on and that's pretty much every Halloween costume ever sorted!

The win is all thanks to prizefinder and the ease of use of the website is great, as well as the ability to track what I entered. Sometimes I get things in the post and I have no idea who it is from. I search the prizefinder competitions (finished comps) to see find out who they are from.

I took a bit of a dip in entering and no surprise the prize tally plummeted but I'm getting back into the swing of things again and have lots of lovely prizes to be thankful for from DVD's and games to autographs and trainers. I even won a model steam train that has real smoke!

My biggest and best win has to be a cheque for £1,000 just as we were moving home which helped sooo much!

I have won other items too a signed dart board, exclusive gift sets and beauty items, a few things for the kids but what I am really hoping for (like most of you) is the big holiday or cash prize!

I have decided to spend more of my free time comping and less watching TV shows! Good luck everyone!

I was going through the closing soon list and I saw a comp for a VIP Spa package worth over £200. Going through a dry spell, my subconscious said just enter it you won't win anyway. On my wishlist is to win Spa treats of any kind, so entered it along with the rest of you thought nothing about it.
Two days later had an email to say I was a winner!
Made my morning :).
Spa got in touch and arranged it all, when we got there (package was for 2 people), the spa was situated in a top notch Hotel I wish I had a prize to stay there too.
Was very tranquil and plush, the treatment was amazing and even though in writing it does say what treatments to expect, when put in to practice it's seems I received a lot more (not that I am complaining.) They offered nibbles and fresh water.. I recommend this Spa/Hotel to anyone who wish to go (Westminster Plaza/Mandara Spa).
