It was after watching the Extreme Sweepstake show that I decided I had to get into comping as the people on there were winning loads and it really inspired me.

I have been comping on and off for a couple of years. Like a lot of people on here after watching Extreme Sweepstakers I have my mojo back!

I came across the Now TV competition and saw I had to do a bit of work for it so I thought I would give it a go. I actually ended up having to do it twice in a row as it had an error the first time right after I had found all the places so I did it again and a couple of weeks later, there it was, CONGRATULATIONS from Now TV. I'd won a 42 inch LG TV and Now TV box. I had to read the email 3 times before shouting my partner in. I was super excited, all that was going round in my head was 'Oh My god I have won a TV' and it came about a week later. I was like a kid at Christmas. Thanks to ThePrizeFinder team for making this brilliant site.

I am unable to work so a couple of years ago I thought I would start comping, sadly I have not won anything, until now.

I was just doing my normal morning routine on 22nd October of checking my emails and had one from "Your Horse" magazine, which was a competition va Greatcompetitions.co.uk which Theprizefinder took me to.

So here is the email:

"Hi Beth

Congratulations you have won the Caldene competition in You Horse.

Now in total this prize is worth maybe £300-£400 so I think even tho it has took a couple of years, I have done alright.

(Sadly I am too big for the prizes but they come at a great time for xmas presents. I am waiting for them to be delivered but here is a rough picture of some of the items)

After only a couple of small wins this year, I now seem to be on a bit of a winning streak. First I won a soundtrack CD from Cultbox, this was quickly followed by a £20 voucher for Crown Carveries (via twitter) then a George Best book signed by the author from Sportsvibe.
Two prizes in two days of 4 cans of Carling and a Simply Cook box of ingredients (both via twitter again). Then came the big one... I had a call from The Telegraph to inform me that I had won an iPad mini! It was delivered today in less than 24 hours since the phone call.

I love reading the winners stories as they keep my motivation high when I'm having a dry spell! I've still not had that elusive big win but have enjoyed a few little wins lately - including a goody bag, a solar powered radio and also some tasty Feelgood Drinks in a cool bag. I've also won a bottle of champagne which I've hidden away for Hubby's birthday at the end of the month. I'm loving comping at the moment as it's a fun free activity for when the weather outside isn't great. I've seen quite a few Halloween pumpkin carving competitions and I'm fancying a go at them - luckily there's a pumpkin stall near where I live so I think they may be doing good business! My cat hopes I will win something for him so I keep looking out for pet comps although he seems pretty happy with the Feelgood cool bag!

I came back to comping a couple of weeks ago in hope of winning some extra goodies for Christmas. None so far, however I did win 2 tickets to watch Artic Monkeys in Manchester last night. I took my sister and we had an amazing time. Thank you Prizefinder.

After taking 6 months off comping to plan my wedding I started up again with a vengeance this week, how I've missed it! My fingers are sore from all the frantic typing of my details into many many forms and I can't stop checking my e-mail for the magic words of congratulations.
So when the postie knocked on the door this morning & the husband shouts upstairs "What've you been buying from Woman's Own"! I was down those stairs like a shot. To my surprise I'd won a bumper prize of beauty goodies which were just sent straight out to me!
I know have a huge grin on my face and a reinforced comping ambition, bring it on!
