I started doing competitions last year and been hooked ever since. I started due to being unwell and I wanted something to do. I was like many new people doing this thinking you never win, it's just a scam. Then a few weeks into it I won a prize and I have been winning ever since.

I have won over £1700 of prizes and still winning. A few of my prizes have been dvds, cds, wine, 2 hairbrushes,and loads more. My best win was a laptop worth over £600 which I really needed. My fiance loves knowing what I win as I share my prizes with him.

I love entering competitions and can not wait to see what I get next.

Anyone reading this and is new thinking you never win, DON'T as you do win and its not a scam.

I won a two night break on the isle of Skye in a 4 star apartment with a meal in one of the best restaurants in the world - the 3 chimneys on Skye. It couldn't have come at a better time as it is our 25th wedding anniversary this year and what better way to to celebrate, and as a bonus my husband's brother lives on Skye and we have not seen him and his wife for quite a few years so we can not only enjoy our break on Skye but also catch up with close family at the same time. Really looking forward to our break on Skye.

October has been and gone, but it has an extremely lucky month for me with multiple competition wins. First up were a couple of Xbox games (HALO 4 and FIFA 13), shortly followed by a goody bag from the movie "The Candidate'. A week later I then received an email telling me that I'd won tickets for the England vs San Marino game at Wembley. Then came the big prize haul all in the space of a couple of days; Michael McIntyre tickets and a London hotel stay, 'Prometheus' Blu-Ray and WWE Raw wrestling tickets. I hope November is just as successful... Good luck everyone!

I have been entering your competitions for a while now. It's now much easier as you give the answers... so many more to enter.. it can take all day, but it's worth it. I have won a few prizes this month:- chocolates, a teddy bear, some mugs and a wonderful cheese and wine hamper - just a few of my wins, still hoping for the big one. I enter as many as I can, but only things that I would like or can give to my family. The cheese and wine was definitely a me prize! Thanks for all your help in letting me fulfil my dreams.

I've been entering competitions regularly through the Prizefinder for about a year now and had many little wins from magnets and cheese boards to cosmetics and cheques for £50. It's a great feeling to get that winning email through and what a great hobby too as you mostly come out money up instead of money down! I often go for items I wouldn't normally splash out on for myself so it's a real treat when you win!

It's handy going through Prizefinder as you can choose the categories you are interested in as well as gaining tips from fellow compers. My latest win is from Wines of South Africa - all I had to do for this one was email my details to them and I was delighted when I was chosen as the lucky winner. It's an expensive bottle of wine that I wouldn't normally buy for myself so I'll be keeping this one as a treat for Christmas!

I've found this website by accident while browsing on internet and said myself, why not. So I entered a few competitions in which I was interested and didn't really expect any winnings since I've never won anything before.

What a surprise it was to receive an email saying I've won a pair of beautiful trainers! I was partially excited, partially hesitating if it is not just another scam. Second week passed and no signs of shoes, but then one day they really came! I couldn't believe! I use them now for jogging, no more excuses for staying at home, heheh!

This month has been a great month for myself. I won with Shortlist an Xbox 360 with Kinect and a year's free broadband.

Then i had a winning call from Capital FM. I had won Sky HD, free for a year and also free broadband, an iPad, and a Sony laptop.

At the start of the year I won £300 with Coast, £250 of TK Max vouchers £50 John Lewis vouchers, a hamper, a DNKY watch and VIP tickets to T in the Park.

I've had an amazing year this year and I would like to thank those who post comps on pages and put the hard work and effort in. In the past few weeks it's been like christmas. Luck dust to all.

I had another good month last month. I had entered Lec's ice cream pinterest competition and heard I had been chosen as one of the final 10. Unfortunately this meant I was now in a voting comp!! I bombarded my friends and family for votes and ended up winning! I have chosen my fridge freezer that I won and next month I will be helping make my ice cream, CocoCherryFudgeTastic!! I also get free ice cream for a year and tickets to the Good Food Show, where every visitor gets to taste my creation!! I am really pleased with this win as the prize is something a little bit different. I won lots of other great stuff too, theatre tickets, toys, games, books, food, magazine subscriptions and next week my daughter is going to My Little Pony's Royal Wedding with Nick Jr! She gets afternoon tea and lots of toys to take home. It's experiences like these that make comping so exciting!

I regularly scour The Prizefinder and have had an awesome couple of years with comping as a hobby. Each time I decide to have a little break from the PC or shop aisles, a nice parcel comes ..I am hooked again. I have won a road-bike, skin products, Alton towers family break, the new iPad, Wireless Hi-fi, cash, an Edinburgh break, experience vouchers, gig tickets, spa breaks, a professional CV for my son, cinema tickets, lunches out, plus more. I try to do the occasional creative comp, although I've yet to find out what I'm good at! My most recent win was a £500 shopping spree to Westfield, a personal stylist and first class travel to London. It was truly amazing .. thank you so much Prizefinder!

Well what a fabulous year! I entered Eon's home of the future competition as an employee and won £5,000 for my idea for a new service they could supply. Truly totally amazing. I have also won £200 worth of goodies in an Organic gardening competition which included nemotodes for organic bug management and also goodies for my garden such as birdboxes and tools. Comping is clearly the most lucrative hobby.
