  • I never used to win anything!

Since I started using theprizefinder.com about 1-2 years ago I have won Fifi and the Flowertots toys, a Playstation 3 on the Bacardi website, Rimmel and Loreal Make-up and a holiday to Santander with Brittany Ferries which I am going on at the end of September. I have also recently recieved an email saying i had won an iphone and £500 shopping vouchers! Lovely!

I had never won anything in my life until I started using this website. Its amazing! My Facebook friends get very jealous when I update my status saying what I have won lately. I always tell them to go on theprizefinder.com so they can win like me. As the saying goes, 'You've gotta be in it to win it.'

    Thankyou very much theprizefinder.com

Keep up the good work!!! :)

  • A wonderful hobby

Last July, a month before the birth of my first child, I was sat at home wondering how I was going to fill my days when I stumbled across ThePrizefinder site. I immediately caught the 'compers' bug and spent my days entering competitions. I enjoyed it and felt like I was making good use of my free time. My first prize was a baby play mat which came in very handy with the new baby and gave me such an adrenaline rush because I wasn't used to winning things. I was well and tuly addicted from then on. Since then I have won many prizes but the best prize I have won is an Apple ipad which I won with Av Forums.

I have found myself a wonderful hobby that also pays brilliant dividends. My only regret is that I didn't start it a lot sooner as my new baby means that I can't devote the time to it that I would like to.

  • It's Morphin' Time!

    Thursday, July 8, 2010

I won a red power ranger and £300 of Power Rangers toys! My son and his friends were over the moon and the red ranger even stayed for the party. He presented my son with a bike and one of everything from the current Power Rangers range of toys thank to Toysrus.

  • I won a weekend in Paris!

I love comping, the excitement of that winning phone call, email or letter. One Monday morning in half term this February whilst looking after a friends daughter for the day I got a call from a nice lady at Play.com telling me that I had won a trip to Paris for two and that someone would contact me to arrange this within the next couple of weeks.

When the company called an hour or so later I was still buzzing – I didn’t want to tell anyone as I couldn’t quite believe it was true. My husband and I enjoyed the weekend in Paris. We travelled from London Kings X by Eurostar to Gard de Nord. – The lady at Optimum Releasing had been so thoughtful, even booking seats close to the exits on both journeys.

We stayed in the Pigalle region which I have to admit I was a little wary about as I had read it was the Red Light district. It was a great location and we were able to walk to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre. The weekend went by in a whizz we vowed to visit lots of places that our children would hate (art galleries, churches etc).
The prize even included tickets to the Crazy horse show – which was certainly an experience.

Comping is so much fun and a low cost hobby. People don't understand that they could have as much luck if only they entered the competitions in the first place.

  • Stuck at home with a broken toe - and I won!

I was stuck at home with a broken toe and found your site. It was fun looking at all the competitions and entering a few, but I never expected to win. So this morning when Magic FM rang to say I'd won £500 of Brent Cross tokens I was stunned, especially as I'd only started to enter competitions two weeks ago! And my toe feels better too. Thank you.

  • I won a Honda Jazz car!

My biggest win with Theprizefinder.com was in November last year when I won a shiny black Honda Jazz, valued at over £12,000. This was with What Car Magazine. I played a game and entered into the prize draw and was so surprised when I received an email telling me I had won. We had a little hand over ceremony at the local Dealership and the car came with a year's road tax and a subscription to What Car Magazine.

  • Fame at last!

I dip in and out of competitions and tend to fit them in when I have the time. I have however won some 'unusual' competitions over the years. The most recent was thanks to The Prize Finder who showed a competition with Holiday Extras who offered entrants an extras package for their next holiday including hotel and airport parking. All you had to do was put forward the best holiday disaster story as a result of the volcanic ash cloud. Bargain! having recently been stuck in the Carribean I entered our Trinidad deportation story and won! I have also had a radio interview and two journalist interviews (including photographer) as a result......fame at last!

  • Not long to wait before the prizes come in

    Thursday, May 13, 2010

I've only been entering competitions since January. I started because a friend won Robbie Williams tickets in a comp that 2.4 million people entered, so it made me think someone must win. So I thought I'd give it ago and this year I have won :- theatre tickets, a Barbie CD, admission to Hampton Court Easter Fair with all rides paid for and £150 Currys vouchers. The prizes are great but winning is an even bigger thrill.

  • Only 3 months in, and I've won...

I only started entering competitions about three month ago and so far I think I've done well. I have won £100 worth of Stella Mccartney underwear, 2 portable DVD players, around 40 DVDs, body lotion and gift sets, easter eggs, some kids toys and books. It almost makes giving up work worthwhile! I know they are not major prizes but it's only been 3 months and I am ecstatic just to know they can be won. Thank you ThePrizeFinder.com, you gave me inspiration to go on.

  • I won a holiday to Australia!

    Friday, February 12, 2010

"I entered a competition ran by Boost Smoothies. Every entrant got a free money off coupon for the smoothie, but I didn't realise at the time that there was also an instant win attached to it. It said I had won a holiday for two to Sydney, Australia. I didn't believe it at first and had to look in the terms and conditions. Sure enough I got an email the next day, and later someone called me to confirm. My prize was a two week holiday (flight and hotel inc), and the lady who arranged it all was wonderful. Me and my partner had a fabulous time, so much so we have decided to go back there."
