  • Cheerful January

    Thursday, January 28, 2021

Thankfully I have been able to keep the January blues at bay. Through a Facebook competition with Costcutters I won 6 packets of Betty Crocker Devil’s Food Cake Mix and 6 Betty Crocker Indulgent Chocolate Flavour Icing.
I am going to share it with my family when lockdown ends.
Spear and Jackson ran a Facebook competition and there were very few entrants and we all won a Multi Tool and a torch. I am still awaiting delivery of that prize.
I won my first Gleam competition which was run by TopCash Back. The prize is a box of Prime 50 Skin, Hair and Nails food supplement.
Fingers crossed February will be as good!

I was lucky enough to win two prizes in Dec and had not received either of them by middle of January so politely chased. I then received them both within a couple of days. I won a spot prize of a book and a bar of Lindor chocolate from Choc Lit on Facebook.and an Aperol Hamper from Costcutter on Facebook. The hamper also contains a bottle of Prosecco which I love, 2 nice glasses and some soda water so summer drinks are sorted. I am yet to get off the mark in 2021 so these two prizes have cheered me up.

  • Cosmo win

I won one of those daily entry competitions on the Cosmo website over the Xmas break. It was a Dobbies Highland Blue Christmas tree from one of their limited time collections! Its worth £89 and was actually sold out, so I wasn't too sure what it looked like. I found some press photos online and its a gorgeous dark blue tree, quite unusual, but very stylish. My xmas tree was up by the time it arrived so its still in the box, ready for next year! I also won a Dobbies voucher alongside the tree. So happy with this win, thanks to prizefinder for listing it!

This was my birthday month and I wanted it to be filled with prizes and happiness to start the year. I was not disappointed with three wins in total in around 10 days.

I won a bottle of perfume from an advent entry last month in OK magazine, 1 bottle of 70cl E&J brandy from Nisa store Facebook giveaway plus a coaching session from cosmopolitan magazine.

The month is far from over so I am hoping I can double my prizes in the last 2 weeks! Thanks to this site I can keep my entries organised and find out about plus share great competitions amongst the community.

Fingers crossed for my dream prizes of a luxury holiday, cash and some amazing electrical goodies!

Like many people I spent a good deal of time on the Advents this year. I was hoping to win some toys for the grand kids and maybe a hamper if I was very lucky. The hamper arrived in the form of a small hamper for my nominated person, lovely. Then I got a DM via Twitter from Argos saying I had won a Sega Mega Drive Console on day ten of their advent comp. Fabulous! As you can see from the photo this brought a big smile to Tommy-Lee`s face, even better his Mum managed to win a bundle of boxed games from the Entertainer. Good luck everyone.

With lockdown I decided I needed a new hobby to pass the time and always thought about entering competitions so thought i'd give it a go. I've been quite lucky so far and even established a new 'i've won' dance which amuses my boyfriend greatly :)

Of course the most exciting was my very first win - 7 turmeric shots which I had over Christmas. First year in a while I haven't start the festive period with chocolate every day :)

Thanks to the Prize Finder website I now find enough competitions to keep me going for a few hours a day and already looking forward to the seasonal specials!

When you open the door at this time of year to unexpected parcels its like Christmas come early.
I recently received some Disney frozen prizes, including a light up glitter globe. As the parcel included a lot of different activity sets I donated some to a local Salvation Army Xmas appeal. Hopefully as well as my niece someone else will wake up to some extra presents.
The other prize I have won in December was a lovely rose diary - Really useful - although we all have tech I like a paper diary as well.
Nice to see that this year many competitions still running - Thanks Prizefinder for keeping us all busy

I’ve just had my first ever Instagram win and my first advent win in two years. And it’s a good one A selection of eco sweaty Betty workout gear. It’s absolutely lovely, made out of 17 recycled bottles and super soft. I can only normally afford sweaty Betty in the sale. It included leggings. A sports bra. Two tops, one which matched the leggings and a lovely soft sweatshirt with a hood . The sweatshirt alone is £150 and feels like cashmere . Can’t wait for my next Pilates class now. It’s my best win in along time It arrived within 2 days of notification too
