  • TK Maxx voucher win

I was really happy to win a TK Maxx voucher over on Instagram. They had DM'd me with the news and a few days later I got a lovely gold envelope in the post with my voucher in. I was also happy to see it can be used in both TK Maxx and Homesense stores! Sometimes a good old voucher is the best win - there are some home bits I would like to get so its nice knowing I can shop with a comping win!

Thanks Prizefinder for listing so many comps, that I wouldn't have normally seen otherwise. Such a great website and I love seeing other peoples wins too.

Now the title relates to a recent T-shirt win, being how some compers are preceived. But I think anyone who gets all of these free prizes through the door is anything but!
My wins for May include a chair, scarf , pens and T-shirts. Also some Love to Shop vouchers, won from Compers News. The vouchers are a good prize I used mine in TK Maxx to buy a lovely pillow. Sometimes vouchers are spent on essentials but mostly I like to treat myself with them. Promotions seem to be really increasing this summer with promotors often going for cash and vouchers in these unpredictable times.
Keep entering everyone - some unusual competitions can be found in Prizefinder , surely something for everyone.

I enter competitions through a variety of methods and this month I had a good spread with my wins. On Facebook I had 2 wins. I received A wonderful World hamper which is in the photo and I also won some delicious cookies from a start up business called Jadey Cake Bakes.
On Twitter I won an apple slicer from Jazz Apples and a book called Blood Orange and some goodies from Whispering Stories.
I had a surprise prize of a picnic blanket and water bottle but I have no idea who it was from!
The final prize was when Fix Radio rung me to tell me my song choice had been selected on their Rift competition and I would be receiving £50.
I hope next month will be just as successful.

Hubby kept asking if I was ever going to win anything and then lo and behold last week I had an email from Lloyds pharmacy saying I had won Ghost perfume set and the following day an email from John Greed Jewellery telling me I had won 2 pairs of silver earrings. Thank you prize finder for letting me know about the competitions. Cant wait to win again now. I feel a holiday win coming up. Until then I'm entering everything lol. Advice to compers never give up as you never know when you're going to get that email or text

  • Nice wins in the last month

    Thankyou PrizeFinder for your listings!
Despite working and going to the gym, I've still made time to enter plenty of comps. The ones I prefer to enter are the social media comps, as most only need a RT, share, repost, tag and/or comment, so I can enter a lot in a short space of time.
It stands to reason then, that in the last month, 3 out of my 4 wins have been from social media comps
Firstly a 600 piece card making kit on INSTAGRAM - not only for me, but I won another for the friend I tagged too!
Secondly, a really beautiful Melita Latham leather handbag in mint/teal - I can see it being used alot.
A £25 M&S Voucher from a kind comper who ran a comp on the Compers News forum.
This week I've won fresh pasta deliveries for 2 months & a magnum of Barolo wine.
For May/June I'm hoping to win some meals out!!

  • Dreamies

Prizes come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes the smaller prizes just keep us motivated. This month I have won with Dreamies- a large packet of cat treats with a £15 Netflix voucher. Also a scarf, some coffee and a mug. All really useful prizes . Loved browsing through Prizefinder and making my entries. Sometimes I share the prizes out with friends/family. So if I think I can't use some of the runner-up prizes this does not deter me from entering. Charity shops are also welcoming to any runner - up prizes that can't be used. Hoping to report more wins soon . You never know when the postie will knock on the door.

I entered a competition to win a blue ruffle dress from the clothing store Peacocks. They run them often along with some other clothing stores on their social media for a Friday freebie giveaway.

It was simple to enter just having to enter a particular word under a post and just 3 days later on Monday afternoon I got a message from them to email my details so I could claim my prize!

This is perfect timing for me aa I'm currently adding a few new pieces for the season and as I've put on lockdown weight need some staples to add to my wardrobe that fit and look fabulousm

  • Icon Outlet £20 gift card

    Posted by Tabbycat1

    Monday, April 19, 2021

Entered a competition to win a £20 gift card for Icon at the O2, which is fairly near me. Got an email saying I'd won a gift card, so I printed out the email, went down there and claimed the card.

Decided to spend it on the day as the cards had an expiry date in early May. It turned out to be one of my typical shopping trips where I go there looking for a particular item of clothing, but none of the shops have what I'm after, so I end up spending money on other things (but not CDs as is my wont, because the Icon outlet had nowhere that sold them). Was looking for light blue jeans to replace a worn-out pair, but couldn't find a pair I liked in my size. Instead, bought a coolbag from the Regatta store, because until the government stops trying to take down details of anyone who eats out at restaurants, picnics are the order of the day.

Tried to be good and spend the rest on healthy things at Holland and Barrett, but that didn't work as their IT wasn't set up to take the gift card, so instead, I wound up spending the rest of it in Hotel Chocolat. Still, nice stroke of luck. Was interesting to go back to the Icon Outlet, but will only return there when they start taking cash again: I don't spend any of my own money at places that don't take my cash, because anonymity is essential for privacy, which in turn is essential for liberty.
