Every year on the 1st December the internet goes crazy as promoters unleash their Advent Competitions upon us. It's a busy time for compers, with daily giveaways on Facebook, Twitter and blogs as well as the usual websites - but don't panic! It's pretty much impossible to manage ALL the Advent comps every day on top of your usual comping, so choose the ones where you really want the prizes. With Facebook competitions you can usually see how many entries there are, so you know if there's a good chance of you winning.
Most Advents run for either 12 days or 24 days starting on 1st December, but some of them have unusual start or end dates so we've included the dates in the list. Sometimes promoters can be a bit slow at updating the comps too - so we would recommend NOT doing your Advent comps first thing in the morning!
