Our Xmas Hamper Winner!

Thankyou to everyone who entered our festive giveaway to win a Waitrose hamper. Our lucky winner chosen at random was LINDSAY LOVELL and we'll be getting Lindsay's hamper to her in time for the Christmas celebrations.

Lindsay told us that the prize she most wanted from Santa this year was a 3D TV - good luck Lindsay, we've got some great comps listed to win one of those from Real Radio, Handbag and Tesco Magazine!

Everyone who entered our hamper draw had to tell us the prize they MOST wanted from Santa this Christmas and we had some brilliant answers…

Jan and Mary both want a puppy, Richard wants 'a Chelsea win', Bernadette is after TWO weddings (for her son and daughter!), Paul is hoping for peace and quiet and Tina fancies David Beckham in her stocking. Unfortunately The PrizeFinder can't help you with winning these, but we CAN help a few more of you with your requests...

  • Christine wants to win a Kitchenaid mixer - have you tried the Florette Advent Calendar?
  • Lorna would like a Radley handbag - how about entering their Pinterest competition?
  • Kevin wanted socks - we recommend following HeatHolders on Twitter as they have lots of socks up for grabs!
  • Robyn fancies winning a sewing machine - how about this prize from Sew Magazine?
  • Sue wants the ability to cook like Heston Blumenthal - how about winning a lesson at the Ashburton Cookery School?
  • Anna wanted bubble bath - try retweeting Vosene's competition tweet for that Anna!
  • Ruth wants a SodaStream - Weightwatchers members can win one here
  • Helen wants a Yankee candle - if you're local to Cardiff you can win some here on Facebook!
  • Derek wants a turkey - Winneroo can help with that Derek, they're giving away one by Heston for Waitrose!

If there's a prize you REALLY want, then tweet us or tell us here on the blog or on Facebook - we'll do our best to find you a competition to win it!

That's such a shame Nicky!
The best way to be successful with comping is to split your time between entering comps on PrizeFinder, and trying to find your own comps - searching on Twitter and Google for the prizes you want to win can be really good fun. Also try local papers, magazines, websites and radio stations. And try the competitions that need a bit of effort - Pepsi gave away £1000 a day in the run up to Christmas in a photo comp that got an average of 20-30 entries each day! Try and vary the hobby so you don't get fed up. Also download Roboform, or use a form filler in Chrome so you can whizz through the easy web comps more quickly and have time to spare on the more interesting ones!
