Our June Wins

Submitted by SuperluckyDi on Sat, 2012-06-02 13:36

Oh, the joys of having a four day weekend - but what's this awful rainy weather? The best solution is to keep calm and carry on comping… let's hope we have a June filled with amazing wins for PrizeFinder members!

You posted some great wins on the May Wins post, about £13,000 worth in total! MaggieRiorda won a VIP trip to Euro 2012 with Carlsberg. Vixylou and nicctaylor both won in the Asda Golden Mum competition - Nicc even gets to meet and greet the penguins at London Zoo as part of her prize! Babz229 won a VIP trip to see the men's 100m final at the Olympics on Twitter, and lucky xxme2uxx won something very special - a float autographed byThe Hoff!

As for this month, I REALLY want to win a VIP Olympics trip so I have my fingers crossed for that...how about you?

Good luck for June everyone - and as always, don't forget to upload photos and tell us your Winners Story too, for a chance to win a £50 voucher in our monthly prize draw!

Don't seem to be winning so much (hardly anything) I think it's because so many more people are takinhg a chance on competitions because of the resession, whereas before they might not have bothered. What do you think?

There's been lots of publicity for comping as a hobby recently - you're right, the recession has made a lot of people look to it as a way to supplement their income! And in the past many people wouldn't bother as they presumed it was too hard to win - but with Facebook we can see people winning all the time so it motivates you to keep going because you see that people are winning lots of great prizes!

As well as doing the PrizeFinder listings I also use Google to find competitions that will be low entry - this definitely improves your chances of winning!

Oh this is addictive! Have just won a chick lit book for me and a childrens book for my little girl.

They may only be small wins but you never know what's around the corner. :-)

Wow just had a WEM! I entered a L'Oreal Father's Day photo competition and my winning photo will be in this Sunday's (Father's Day) Times! I'm delighted and so excited!! I think there might be some L'Oreal Male Grooming Goodies on the way too! I'm on a roll, let's hope it continues! I only started seriously in February and it has taken until now for the wins to start coming in, so for all you newbies - persevere! I often felt frustrated and like throwing in the towel, I'm so glad I didn't! Funnily enough my two recent wins are all from competitions I entered while in on holiday Portugal when the baby was having her nap!
