Merry Christmas From The PrizeFinder

Hello everyone!  How was your weekend, any nice last minute Christmas wins to report?  A few more bits and pieces here including a couple of wins from our local high street advent competition – a £10 coffee shop voucher and a cuddly penguin!  Also won some collapsible headphones from the Verbatim advent, a David Walliams picture book in a blog comp and a Pictureka card game on a Facebook Like & Share comp.  So, Christmas is almost upon us, can you believe it!  All the advents are winding down now, and a lot have stopped already.  This time of year comping has to take a back seat to all the family fun, so all our coming entries seem to dry up too.  Not such a bad thing to take a break though as it means we come back to it refreshed and renewed in January.

Have you managed to win any Christmas gifts this year?  I managed to bag a few things including some Sylvanian Families (which my eldest collects) in an Instagram comp, a Sofia the First dress up set for my youngest in a blog comp, as well as numerous books and little stocking fillers.  Almost time to start hoarding again for birthdays and next year’s Christmas gifts!  We are probably at the point where from now on none of our prizes won will be here in time for the big day itself, but remember to keep on hassling promoters who haven’t fulfilled their prizes yet – they have a habit of forgetting this time of year.

If you are at a loose end over the festive season, there are still plenty of lovely comps around to be entering.  Don’t forget to take photos of your Christmas dinner too – there are always some lovely photo comps that spring up around the big day that call for you to share a pic of your roast.  For those of you (like myself) who just can’t go Cold Turkey (boom, boom!) over Christmas, here are some fab comps that are still open for entries!

  • Fancy winning a fabulous trip away including some fun extras?  Heart FM in association with Weight Watchers are offering the winner of their awesome comp a choice of trips including a shopping and dining trip for 2 to Paris, a celebrity chef cooking class for 2 in Oxford, a fine dining trip for 2 to London or a spa and dining trip for 2 to Cornwall.  To enter simply register or log in at the website and answer the question (Our advice – Seine) by midnight on 26th December 2014 – the only problem you will have if you won is choosing which prize to go for!
  • £500 of Waitrose vouchers would go some way tor restocking your kitchen cupboards this winter wouldn’t it?  Enter the Delia Online comp and you could be doing a super duper top up shop!  To enter register or log in at the website and answer the question (Our advice – Oyster Sauce) by midnight on 28th December 2014.
  • Does your living room entertainment system need a revamp?  To celebrate the release of the new Hobbit movie The Battle of the Five Armies, The Daily Mail are giving away a fantastic entertainment system including 40” HD TV, a home theatre system, a Sky HD+ box with the full package for one year, the Hobbit The Desolation of Smaug on Blu-ray 3D and a full range of Hobbit movie books from Harper Collins.  To win this fantastic bundle simple email your details before midnight on 29th December 2014.
  • After all the Christmas festivities, and before the New Year ones, would you like to win a fabulous Christmas Pamper Hamper from Neal’s Yard Remedies worth over £250?  I know I would!  Woman & Home magazine are giving away this great prize and to enter all you need to do is answer the question (Our advice – Monica Galetti) by midnight on 30th December 2014.

So it just remains for me to wish you and yours a fantastic Christmas from all of us here at The PrizeFinder.  I will be around on the blog if you need me between now and New Year – when I will be announcing the details of the famous Lucky New Year competition comping up in January 2015!  Do keep letting us know about your wins – we always love to hear from you.

A very Merry Christmas to you all, and lots of festive Lucky Dust!
