Win an Air Fryer with National Chip Week (CLOSED)

Hello everyone!  How was your weekend, any nice wins to report?  Just one small one here – a voucher for a 6 pack of Velvet Crunch crisps turned up, which I think was from an Asda competition.  No Asda stores here on the Island unfortunately, so will have to wait until we go to the Mainland at the end of the month - yum though!  Did you have a nice Valentine’s Day?  We didn’t do anything very special here, as it isn’t really one of of our favourite holidays.  I did get some lovely flowers though, and we had a delicious homecooked meal all together.  The bottle of sparkling rose wine I won went down well too, and hubby enjoyed some of the beers from the case of Morena that I won earlier this year – nice when comping prizes help with celebrations isn’t it!

Half term here this week, do you have little ones home too?  I really struggle trying to get all my work done, entertain the kids, cook, clean and fit in some comping too during the holidays.  What I struggle with most is trying to make sure we all still eat healthily, even though we are pushed for time and have lots of commitments.  We have all been on a health kick since Christmas too, so still trying to keep our resolution to eat well and exercise more regularly.

Did you vow to start eating healthier in 2015 too; well The PrizeFinder may be able to help!  Did you know it is National Chip Week this week (16th – 22nd February 2015) - who knew, right?  We all love a chip shop tea don’t we, especially at the weekend as it means no washing up and always tastes so good!  But we also don’t want to break our resolutions so early in the New Year, so what do we do?  For this month’s exclusive The PrizeFinder competition we want to know what you would normally order at your local chip shop, and in return you will be in with a chance of winning a Tower Airwave Low Fat Air Fryer!  Air fryers seem to be the latest big thing in kitchen small appliances don’t they, they are everywhere!  With this clever bit of kit you will be able to cook heathier, homemade chips, fish, chicken or anything else you fancy without the need for unhealthy oils and fats.  What a great way to treat the family to yummy, tasty homemade foods, without all the grease or having to break your resolutions!

This competition is open only to registered members of The PrizeFinder, and you need to be logged into your account to comment below.  Comments get held in a moderation queue once they are added, so won’t appear instantly.  One entry per person, UK residents only and entries close at 23:59 on Sunday 22nd February 2015 – good luck everyone!

Happy comping everyone, and don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for all the Pancake Day creative comps tomorrow - Lots of Lucky dust to you all!

Kirsty x

I share a haddock and chips with my husband-- our local chippy (even child size) is far too generous ,portionwise, and I hate to waste any.

Hubby and me usually have the same wherever we go - a large battered haddock with chips and mushy peas each and we share a curry sauce between us. We take our own cutlery and salt & vinegar with us when we know we are going to eat them in the car.

Tail end of haddock and small chips with mushy peas if possible. We will often do the mushy peas at home to go with the f & C's. Always have bread and butter and a pot of tea too!

I haven't had fish and chips in a while and I get put off ordering cod as it never really is cod! I usually have a fishcake, chips, mushy peas, gravy and, of course, a pickled egg!
