Share Your December Wins

Hello everyone!  How was your weekend, any nice wins to report?  Managed to win a nice case of wine infusions from a txt competition last week, hubby bagged himself a Christmas jumper on the Budweiser app and a lovely set of Michael Morpurgo books turned up as a surprise win – not sure where they came from!  Our Christmas trees and decorations went up this weekend, including turning our daughters’ bedroom into a winter wonderland with woodland scene setters, a stick on fire place and fairy lights – looks pretty magical!  So, here we are 1st of December, Advents have arrived!  Are you getting stuck in already?  I have already been ploughing through some this weekend, trying to find out which ones I am interested in and which ones I can safely “ignore” as something I don’t want to waste time on.  Of course there are still tons of “regular” competitions for those of you who don’t bother with the advents, so don’t worry you won’t be missing out!

Looking back over November, and considering it was a really busy working month for me, it wasn’t too bad prize-wise.  I managed to win 16 prizes, with the help of hubby winning 2!  Here is a little run-down of some of my wins:

  • 2 x Heat & Hug Koalas, from the Cushelle on-pack promotion
  • A set of Sylvanian Families, from an Instagram Regram comp
  • A selection of Child’s Farm hair products, from the “Perfect Ponytail” Facebook photo comp
  • A bottle of wine, in a Like & Share Facebook comp
  • 2 x Christmas jumpers, from the Budweiser on-pack promotion
  • Some car cleaning products, from Ideal World on Twitter
  • A toiletry bag, from the Air France instant win
  • A case of Arniston Bay wine, from their Infusions text comp
  • A surprise set of Michael Morpurgo books, not sure where from!

My favourite win has to the Liz Early Ultimate Christmas Hamper I won though through their Facebook tie breaker comp!  This was worth an amazing £200 and really is a very special win!  My favourite runner’s up prizes have to be more choccies bars from the Cadbury Win a Banger instant win – am building up a nice stash of chocolates with this comp!

Let’s see what some of our lovely members have been winning this month too:

Everyone’s favourite blog comping queen xxme2uxx has been winning some lovely prizes as usual, including a LOGO board game, cheese making kits, £100 of clothing from bibico and a Guardians of the Galaxy DVD.  Laura44v won a professional post-Christmas oven clean – what a nice thing not to have to worry about after the festive turkey!  She then went on to have a holiday winning spree – bagging herself a 3 night break for 2 in the Damart voting competition, a cookery course with Jean Christophe Novelli AND a week’s skiing holiday for 4 people to the French Alps, with the Ski Club of GB!  FantasyM started back comping in October and has already won a 3 Days to Kill Blu-ray and 4 Blu-Rays from the After Dark Collection, all on Twitter!  Lish2013 had a lovely win of £100 of iTunes vouchers from Leo Vegas UK.  Misstyrian has had a winning spree including a Sooty puppet, some Urban Decay make up, a Maxi Cosi car seat, a children’s toothbrush and some pizza vouchers & a serving set – what a nice haul!  Kylie1dw won a yummy bottle of Honey Brandy, in the Absolute Radio daily comp – cheers!

Those of you who know me know I have been trying to win a holiday to Lapland this year – but to no avail.  My favourite member winner this month HAS to be goatinaboat who snagged the family trip to Lapland with Mumsnet this month – a truly amazing prize for the family, huge congrats!

Happy Christmas Comping everyone, and lots of Lucky Dust to you all!

Kirsty x

After 6 weeks with no wins i have now won some Hotel chocolat blog win a gardners gift bag jamie lee and a karcher steam cleaner mumsnet

Hi love. I would say stick with it, as entries dry up now and your chances are much better. Also make sure you are doing a mix of instants, web entry and social media if you can, rather than trying to stick to one format. Keep your eyes peeled for effort required ones too - xmas jumper and tree photo cos for example are great. Good luck! xx
