Well, hello everyone! This is my first Blog post for The Prize Finder, and I am very pleased to meet you all! I am joining at a fun and interesting time – Spring has started to show signs of being sprung and Easter is coming up fast! We all have renewed verve and energy when the sun starts to shine, so let’s all put it to good use and get comping!

March wasn't too bad a month for me – 18 wins including some of my favourites:

  • 8 x Letts Monster Practice workbooks from Families Online (an ideal birthday gift for my nephew)

  • 2 x Ergoflex pillows worth £140 on Twitter (such a lovely treat for the bedroom)

  • A photo canvas from The Family Fever blog (a fab win as we never get round to printing photos)

  • A set of Series 9 Moshi Monsters from the Mummy Bird blog (my daughters were thrilled with this one!)

  • A World Book day bundle from Teletext Holidays on Facebook (will make great birthday gifts for my children and their friends)

Let’s see some of your fabulous March Winsxtezjoshx had their first win since starting comping in January – A vegtrug Poppy from Kitchen Garden Magazine – well done and hopefully the first of many!  Sloopy123 and frilly_Tilly both won a 12 month subscription to The Week Magazine with 50 Connect, xxme2uxx won a selection of teas from the London Tea Co, kylie1dw won a Polar watch from the Body Fit Magazine website, and good to hear that natcoops90 has done well with skill-based comps this month winning runner-up in the Spam Appreciation contest with a recipe, and a bumper pack of Pilgrims’ Choice Cheese and VIP club membership with a photo comp,  Simple prize draws are easy and fun, but it definitely pays off sometimes to make a little bit of an effort with a competition.

The winner of the most under-rated, useful prize for this month has be gymchick76 who won a pack of Spontex Scourers!  And many congrats to karenwalby who has won a week’s cruise on the Queen Elizabeth in July courtesy of Cunard!  What a great first win for you!

Let us know how you get on with your comps this month by commenting below with your wins. And don’t forget to upload photos of your prizes for a chance to win a £50 voucher here!

Great to hear all your wins everyone, keep entering and lots of Lucky Dust to you all!

I won Purely Piano software, worth £65; it is too late for me to become a rock god, but my boys are interested in using it. And I won the Cosplay DVD, a friend does this costume dressing for a hobby so it will be right up his street!

Just received a Pro Plan Puzzle Toy from Monster Pet Supplies today :)

Only been comping a couple of months too and I think thats the first comp thats passed its closing date since I joined.

Well done Emmabeth! I'm often too impatient to wait for comps to end, so I work through the comps on The Prizefinder by closing date - that way I don't have long to wait! I also like doing daily or specific day facebook and twitter comps, as they have short ending dates too. Good luck!

Good question! To be honest it could mean either! This doesn't help you though does it! As a general rule most comps mean midnight at the end of that day - for example our comps usually end 11.59pm on a certain date, to avoid that confusion, and most comps will mean the comp ends at the v end of the day mentioned - I.e. Midnight at the end of Monday 14th At least, that's how I always read it! Thanks again!

I roughly have around 4 hours in the day and 2 hours at night to do comps I don't tend to comp weekends but fills my time up when kids are at school n house work is done tbh finding that egg gave me a break from comping was annoying but good fun x
