Easter Head Start & WIN an Easter Hamper! (CLOSED)

Happy Monday everyone!  Easter Sunday falls on 20 April this year, so we have a few weeks to decide on what Easter goodies we will be buying. The Easter competitions have already started popping up though, so now is a good time to get a head start, especially on the more creative ones.  We also have our own fantastic Easter competition - see below for more details!

Easter competitions are usually themed around eggs, treasure hunts, chicks and chocolate! There are quite often lots of lovely photograph and Easter Egg hunt comps to get your teeth into, so start keeping your eyes out for things that could make good Easter photos, or start making some Easter crafts ready for the deluge of Easter competitions that will crop up nearer the time. For those of us with school-age children, this has the extra added benefit of being a fun activity to do with them while they are off from school. Their efforts don’t have to be perfect, but there are usually lots of children’s Easter craft themed competitions too – both online and locally at your own library for instance. If you have the chance now to practice decorating some eggs for example, you will have your ideas and techniques organised ready for when the bulk of competitions come online.

In the meantime, here are a few of the early bird Easter competitions around at the moment:
