Lucky New Year 2015 - Day 6 (CLOSED)

Submitted by tpf_kirsty on Tue, 2015-01-06 07:37

Hello again everyone!  Every day for the first week of January 2015 we are giving away a £10 Amazon voucher, and all entries from each daily competition will also go into the Grand Prize Draw to win £100 in cash!

For today’s Lucky New Year competition we want to know your comping resolutions.  Are you going to try and focus on different comps this year, keep a prize wish list, or maybe learn a new piece of social media or an app to help your comping successes?  For me I am going yto try and focus more on what I really want to win, and to try and do more Instagram and Pinterest comps too.  To enter today’s competition you just need to drop me a blog comment below before 23:59 tonight Tuesday 6th January 2015.  Remember that comments need to be moderated, and as such won’t appear instantly.

Don’t forget that every entry you make into the daily Lucky New Year competitions gets you one entry into the Grand Prize Draw for £100!

Kirsty x

I really want to get to grips with instagram this year and I'm also going to try photo comps. AND stop myself from being distracted by facebook and twitter.

I'm going to try and be organised to do more creative comps, more postals and search for more local comps. Also going to try & avoid Twitter - I think often they aren't run fairly.

Just won a lovely necklace, bracelet and pair of earrings from Cat Gallery so hoping this is a good start for 2015.

Love entering competitions and my best ever wins have been a £10,000 tec bundle from Stuff and a holiday for 2 to Italy from Nottingham Evening Post.

My New Years comping resolution is to be better organised and try to find a workable comping schedule to fit around family and work times

I would like to enter more twitter comps as they are very quick to do. Creative comps appear to have less entries and even though I do not have a creative streak at all I am determined to give them a whirl this year!

I have certain things that I'd like to try and win this year, plus I'm going to try to stop entering comps for things I don't really need or want :D

To slow down a bit... getting a bit too carried away with winning this past year and I think this year I'll concentrate more on my navel... oops.. novel.

My resolution is to enter more skill competitions as I enjoy both writing and photography and really miss the days when slogan writing comps were the norm. It doesn't feel so much of an achievement to have simply entered an email address and name and clicked a button. A family member won a photography comp last year and that has inspired us all to do more of these skill comps.

First, I would like to focus on camera comps, so I can take quality photos. ALso, setting up my wishlist for this year also helps me focus.

My comping resolution for this year would be entering competitions I really want and not under value of £30. I have already tried twitter and I am sorry to say, I don't get it. I'll have a go at Instagram and if that gets time consuming or complicated, I think I'll just stick to good old-fashioned Facebook :). After all, I won almost £1000 worth of prizes thanks to Facebook alone, and that's good for me :).

I am gong to try and be more creative in my entries and will try to use instagram. I have tried to use this last year but was never sure that anything was happening. I will also use a spreadsheet to record any wins to help with motivation. It is easy to forget the smaller wins.

I'm going to try and plan what competitions i'm going to do - i need baby products this year and would love a new tv. I'm planning on joining Instagram this year too as i feel i'm missing out on some good competitions.

I have had most success with local competitions so resolve to sniff out more of these in 2015. Small prizes can be as much of a joy as large!

I am going to try and be more organised and enter those I really want more in advance rather than a day or so before closing - Competitions by Prize should help with that. Hopefully that might improve my chances of winning too!
